A taste of the past preserved for the future
One of the reasons I started my blog was a desire to document our family recipes - something the previous generation did not do on my side. So I find it so endearing and fascinating to hear Leigh unearth precious family stories around food. Her voice was made for this medium and her guests and stories will capture your heart.
Sooooo charming--looking forward to more!
Just listening to the trailer for The Heritage Cookbook Project, I'm already touched and inspired by the bits of others' memories and stories inspired by food, as well as awash in my own memories of my family and the food that has been so a part of us. Leigh reminds us how much food and love and memories are intertwined, but more importantly, how universal that intertwining is--it's something we ALL have in common and that brings us together. Thanks, Leigh--can't wait for more!
Gives me chills!
I already love Leigh’s videos and website where she unites food and memories so beautifully. This podcast is doing the same thing but, I think, even better! I got chills just listening to the trailer! I can’t wait to hear more episodes!!!
