    Mormonism: Impossible with Dr. Nace Howell

    We are joined by Dr. Nace Howell, the author of “Mormonism Impossible: Refuting a Fundamental Mormon Doctrine and Using Apologetics to Reach the Latter-Day Saints.”  In his book, Dr. Howell critiques the doctrine of exaltation within Mormonism. Explaining that many Mormon’s do not know the “why” behind this fundamental concept in their faith. We discuss his book, and ask some common and uncommon questions about Mormonism.  Dr. Nace Howell is a member of the Evangelical Philosophical Society, and is a director at Reasonable Faith Flathead Indian Reservation chapter. He has an earned Doctorate in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary; a M. Div. in Apologetics from Luther Rice College and Seminary; and a B. S. in Bible from Lancaster Bible College. He has been teaching apologetics, Bible, and theology for over a decade in church, small group, and high school settings. He is ordained in the Christian and Missionary Alliance and is a senior pastor in the Rocky Mountains. He is happily married to an amazing woman and together they have one son. Some areas in which he is competent are metapologetics, Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witness theology, Buddhism, Islam, atheism, metaphysics, theistic arguments, archaeology, Baha’i, metalinguistics, philosophy of religion, epistemology, and others.
