I listen to podcasts pretty much every day. They are my go-to while driving, while cutting grass, walking the dog, folding laundry, etc. Unfortunately Phil and Leila only release one episode a week, and it’s only an hour!! But I look forward to it every week, and maybe it’s better to leave your audience wanting more. The educated, thoughtful perspectives of two seasoned, adult people on such a broad range of subjects is truly a gift for those of us who have less experience, or maybe just aren’t in a stage of life that allows the required reading to really make sense of up or down. They are the aunt and uncle I wish I had across town so that we could meet for Sunday dinner and chat about current events. Instead, I’ll make do with listening to their conversations from the other end of the eastern seaboard and tucking away those frequent pearls of wisdom that they share, as well as a sense that all will be ok because neither Phil nor Leila ever seem to be freaking out, despite the crazy daily news. Calm assurance, clear discernment, and charity are what I hear on their podcast feed.

I look forward to this podcast every week! For any Catholic looking to stay current on issues in the world and in the church, this is the only resource you need. Phil and Leila are extremely well-formed, well-educated, faithful Catholics who I very much look to (and look up to!) as I raise my own brood. Thank you for all the work and thought you put into all of the materials you produce! They are so very much savored and appreciated.

A winning duo, this husband and wife impart thoughtful, informative, and engaging content with intelligence, wit, and warmth. I look forward to every episode. They make me feel like I am an eavesdropper on a conversation happening at the kitchen table. Most importantly, they have a holy attitude about the troubling world we live in, citing their family creed, "happy despite them" at the end of every episode. They are honest without being moribund.
