Like mullets, it's not for everyone, but it's ultra mega rad for those who dig the subject matter.
Oddly, I dislike breaking down movies myself, I prefer to "be" in the world the film is trying to show me, but I very much enjoy listening to these guys break movies down.
Particularly Dave.
Dave comes off as an expert in film theory, and is a cool dude. He is clearly the sex symbol of the show, and uses his intellect to prove that he's more than just ear candy. When not waxing poetic on the validity of plot points and camera angles in B Grade films, one imagines he is practicing his interpretive dance, having a martial arts montage and painting Japanese kanji with a oversized brush (possibly all at once). Legend has it, as a fetus, he even made it with Tami Holbrook.
