The is the first of three episodes about alternative energy visionary John Schaeffer. In the '80's John became the first to market and sell commercial solar panels in the U.S., becoming the largest supplier of alternative energy in the world.  In episode 1 we dive in to his activist roots at UC Berkeley in '67 that brought him 'back to the land' and ultimately inspired the creation of his company Real Goods.
