Best wishes!

Absolutely the best WoW podcast! So sad to see this end but understandably so and Scott closed this chapter with class and grace. I sit here probably knowing I won’t touch WoW again and fitting that the best WoW podcast is also closing up.

I found WoW and subsequently Scott and Randy in the summer of 2009. I’d listen to this while mowing the lawn or on my commute when WoW was waiting for me at home. Filled a huge void in my life at the time. The shows from 2009-2012 are peak Instance. I encourage anyone looking forward to classic WotLK to take a break back 13 years and hear these guys talk about wrath and WoW.

Scott is absolutely the grandad of gaming podcasts. He pioneered this space. The you tuber and streamers that follows behind the podcast owe Scott a debt for his insistence that quality content delivered with professionalism sets the bar high for those who follow. Scott’s dedication to putting out a consistently high quality show created the standard to which all are measured against.

The gaming media will miss Scott Johnson’s, The Instance but know that the legacy he leaves behind will continue to hold the bar high. I wish Scott well in all other endeavors. For me, it was always WoW. With this ending, that chapter of my life likely ends as well. I just can’t get excited for blizzard products currently and many many times, it was Scott’s enthusiasm for WoW that caused me to come back expac after expac. I just don’t see that happening going forward myself in the game either.

Maybe I’ll pick up classic WotLK and I’ll go back and hear Scott and Randy talk all about the 3.0 WoW world. God bless and best wishes Scott and team!

Thanks Scott, and crew.

My gateway to podcasts. Sad to see it go, but all things must end. Genuinely feels like I am losing an old friend. Nothing else to say, but thank you.

Just wanna say Thank You Scott and all the other hosts that came and went, thanks for the show!
