The IT Factor Podcast

Jermey Robinson, Happy Accidents Media

The I.T. Factor Podcast' is a YouTube show that allows African Americans to come and speak on a comfortable platform about various topics pertaining to the professions they are in. In each episode, I aim to ask each guest, what is their 'I.T. Factor' and why they do what they do. The purpose of the show is to inform the viewers that they can accomplish and do whatever they put their mind to. I created the channel because I felt that blacks lacked representation in their current and future endeavors. Therefore, I progressed through a channel that aired individuals expressing their personal experiences and interests in technology, business, entertainment, sports, culinary (etc.), and any field that is portrayed so that blacks nationwide can see what we are doing to change the narrative. JAILEN BOOKER: Storytelling, Tech, and Creating Cinematic Content That Inspires

JAILEN BOOKER is more than just a digital creator—she’s a visionary storyteller and data manager who is carving out her own lane in both tech and media. In this episode, we dive deep into her journey, starting with her college years at UConn, and explore how she balances her role as a Data Technology & Impact Manager while continuing to grow as a content creator. We talk about what makes her stand out, the “IT factor” that drives her, and how her passion for media took root. Jailen opens up about what it was like documenting her brother’s draft process, producing content so cinematic it could have been mistaken for the Dallas Cowboys’ own media team. She also shares how she finds inspiration for her unique creative style—whether she’s capturing football moments, exploring new restaurants, traveling, or creating mini vlogs. This conversation goes beyond the highlights. Jailen reveals who she is outside of media and tech, what makes her genuinely happy, and the legacy she hopes to leave behind. We also touch on her thoughts about building her own media team one day, her dream career, and why impact means more to her than influence. For young women aspiring to enter tech while also pursuing creative passions, she drops invaluable advice on how to balance both worlds and stay authentic. Jailen Booker’s story is proof that you don’t have to choose between tech and creativity—you can thrive in both, inspire others, and shift culture while doing it. #JailenBooker #WomenInTech #DigitalCreator #Storytelling #CinematicContent #TheItFactorPodcast #ContentCreation #MediaAndTech #Inspiration

In this powerful second appearance on The IT Factor Podcast, Trey Hope returns with even more insight, passion, and energy for the culture. From the moment his coding raps started making waves, it was clear he wasn’t just teaching people how to code—he was transforming the way we see tech, creativity, and community. In this episode, we dive deep into how he creates his music, what inspired him to blend rap with coding, and the bigger vision that continues to grow as he balances tech and artistry. He opens up about what makes him genuinely happy, who and what inspires him right now in tech, music, and life, and the lessons he wishes someone had shared with him when he first began his journey with Flutter. We also explore where he sees the biggest opportunities for growth in mobile app development, and how his unique approach has helped him connect with both beginners and experienced developers alike. From surprising responses he’s received from the dev community to the cultural impact of merging hip-hop and technology, this conversation proves once again why his work is bigger than music and bigger than code—it’s about shifting culture and creating a new lane for the future. #Coding #HipHop #Flutter #MobileAppDevelopment #TechCulture #Developers #LearnToCode #MusicAndTech #TheITFactorPodcast Chapters: 00:00 Navigating Emotions and Personal Growth 02:38 Shifting Focus: Consistency Over Perfection 06:17 The Creative Process Behind Code Flows 09:51 Tips for Aspiring Mobile App Developers 11:26 Shifting the Culture in Tech and Music 14:09 The Evolving Purpose Behind Code Flows 16:39 Sources of Inspiration and Motivation 19:39 Embracing AI in Development 22:46 AI as a Time-Saving Tool 24:50 The Journey of Self-Discovery 28:12 Impacting Lives Through Data 32:05 The Evolution of Podcasting Goals 🔗 Connect with Us: 📲 Instagram: @theitfactorpodcast 🎵 TikTok: @theitfactor7 🌐 Website: www.theitfactorpodcast.org 🎧 Listen on Apple & Spotify: The IT Factor Podcast 📌 Pinterest: The IT Factor Podcast LLC
