Very good- soooo distractingly noisy
Please stop all of the background noise. The podcast does not need to be perfect, but getting rid of the crinkling paper, dogs, kids, other noises is the least you can do to make it better. I almost stopped listening to Dahlia’s interview because of all of the noise - perhaps it was on her end??? But if so, guests should be directed to get rid of any noises when recording.
I love your information it’s really helpful. That’s why 4 stars.
Thanks for considering!
Some helpful info, but lazy interview style
These guys are clear when it comes to explaining the marmalead tool, and seem to be tech guys who should stick with that topic. Quite honestly they are terrible interviewers. They sit silently for inordinate amounts of time…no structured interview questions that listeners actually want to hear. For example I just listened to the podcast interviewing indigotangerine, and 10 minutes in they have asked no interesting questions about what she felt was responsible for her success. Also the background sounds are ridiculous…in one episode the guy’s toddler was having a full blown convo with him. It’s just oddly uncurated/edited. That said when it comes to explaining tools, literally just the data, it’s helpful.
PLEASE figure out audio
I’m sure all of this is super helpful information but from the first few episodes to the most recent ones the erratic audio volumes are jarring to say the least and makes it incredibly hard to listen to.
One minute I’m listening fine then I get my soul blasted out of my body when your intro/outro song comes on, or that random mysterious “TSSSST” sound happens or someone gets closer to the microphone for a second.
