Vaticanology as It Ought to Be

The best source for why any particular happening in the Vatican is or is not a big deal, a necessary antidote for our hyperbolic culture of sensationalism, which infects even other Catholic news organizations. An invaluable resource.

Restoring News Media

This podcast is incredibly insightful with all the information I want and need about the inner going’s of the Church, and it give us the facts and let’s us develop opinions. This is News Media as it should be! Well done!

Disappointing

I enjoy Mr Allen’s contribution to the work of the Church. This podcast is not one of them. The quality of the recording is poor. He sounds like he is in a cave. His presentation is mediocre: frequent clearing of voice, many “ahems” comments and it strikes the listener like he is shooting from the hip. It begs the question for the listener: “why bother?”. Additionally the plug for Word on Fire is cringeworthy. While every business must keep afloat, Bp. Barron’s organization, one we support at home financially, is too aggressive. I unsubscribed from this podcast.
