How to Achieve and Maintain a Positive Mindset for 2021

How to Achieve and Maintain a Positive Mindset for 2021

Given the current state of the world, it is natural to look to the future with wishful optimism. Even if things were not quite as strange as they are right now, it is around this time of year that people tend to positively prepare (even if it is just mentally) for the coming year. Many people try to envisage all the wonderful things that might happen, the exciting new people they might meet and much more. Generally speaking, as the new year approaches, human beings tend to set extremely high expectations for the future.

As I mentioned, this is simply part of the human condition. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s beneficial. In fact, given the current state of the world, I think setting exceedingly high expectations for the future can have a large negative impact on people, because the current levels of uncertainty are unprecedented. The sheer amount of uncertainty means it will be rather difficult for a person’s high expectations to be met, which can, in turn, cause severe long-term damage to said person.

If I am right, you might be concerned and you might ask: So what should we do instead? My answer is, on the surface at least, quite simple – I think we ought to focus more closely on our inner selves by swapping our expectations for appreciation. In doing so, I believe that we will be better equipped to recognise the good things around us, which will help us to develop the best possible mindset for the new year.

One way of achieving a good mindset for the new year is through meditation. By adding meditative and spiritual practices to your daily routine, you increase your chances of connecting with yourself. This means that you are more likely to understand your needs, wants, strengths, and so on, which will enable you to better channel your energy and appreciate yourself.

In general, understanding oneself is arguably one of the hardest tasks that mankind faces, but it is made a great deal easier by meditation. In my experience, after having channelled my energy in a more effective manner, I was able to experience greater levels of fulfilment and happiness, so I would highly recommend meditation for anyone who may be struggling. What is more, meditation is also extremely useful if you need a relaxing break from the world, a mental clear-out, or just some general alone-time!

In my eyes, meditation is a valuable practice because it allows you to focus on how you’d like to progress. Since progress is what fuels a lot of our happiness, and since progress is often part of one’s expectations for the new year, it is really important to be able to think about it sustainably and rationally. Meditation allows you to do this because it forces you to take control of the situation, as opposed to just allowing your mind to run blindly and wishfully. Moreover, meditation is the foremost method for developing a life philosophy that is attuned to progress, as well as a strategy that will allow for self-fulfilment, whilst remaining present and grateful.

Moving away from meditation for a moment, I think it is extremely important to focus on self-love as one goes into a new year. It is easy to think about the things you would like to achieve, but it sometimes harder to reflect on the good things you already have achieved. It is not altogether clear why this is the case, but there are several ways to resolve the issue. One way of doing so is through gratitude cards – small bits of paper that detail all the amazing things in your life. These cards make the process of positive reflection really simple, thereby helping you to appreciate what you have. Alternatively, picture boards, voice recordings and conversations can be useful tools for achieving a positive and appreciative mindset.

A positive mindset can also be attained through showing love to others. This is the case because an increase in the happiness of others can often lead to an increase in one’s

    Life as a Premiership Footballer

    Life as a Premiership Footballer

Welcome to a special edition of “The Johny Pach Show”. Christmas is a time for giving back and helping to raise money for charity where we can. My companies NXT Generation and BUY PPE LTD, have teamed up with MY CLUB, MASK OUR HEROES CHARITY AND RN BIO SERVICES to create COVAID!.
FANS BRINGING LIFE BACK INTO FOOTBALL
Football needs fans back in all stadiums
On Sunday, December 20th, 2020, two all-star teams will go head-to-head at Chelmsford FC in support of Covid charity Mask Our Heroes. Former England manager ‘Big Sam’ Allardyce and Harry Redknapp will be managing the teams, with celebrities and famous ex-players.

    of course yours truly!

The game is to raise money for Mask Our Heroes, a charity aimed at providing essential PPE for frontline workers. But it’s also to show how fans can safely return to football, with quick-result Covid tests on arrival, and full stadium sanitation provided with Reverse Nature Bioservices Ltd.

The game is being hosted by My Club Group. the community for grassroots sports and presented by myself and footballing legend John Salako –. We run My Club Market, the only service in the UK dedicated to helping grassroots sports teams raise and save money.

Sam Allardyce and Harry Redknapp are looking for 2 grassroots players each to complete their teams. The winners will be strutting their stuff alongside the AllStars and in front of their fans in the pre-Christmas spectacle, and each winner will be given 2 free tickets for friends and family to watch the start-studded game.

NXT Generation together with RN Bioservices, Mask our Heros Charity and My Club have a solution that games in the future can be run100% COVID SAFE.
This game will be a testament to that.
MYCLUBGROUP HAS SPORTS IN IT’S DNA AND I’D LIKE TO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SAY A HUGE ‘THANKYOU’ TO YOUR GUESTS ON YOUR SHOW, TOGETHER WITH THE MYCLUBTEAM AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE COME TOGETHER TO MAKE THIS COVAID INITIATIVE THE GREAT SUCCESS WE’RE EXPECTING ON THE 2OTH DECEMBER, AT CHELMSFORD FC.
WHAT STARTED OUT AS A BRAVE IDEA HAS BECOME A REALITY AND WILL MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE TO THE MASK OUR HEROES CHARITY, A MUCH DESERVED CAUSE FOR GOOD.
THE LINK BETWEEN SPORTS AND SPORTS- RELATED ACTIVITIES HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY CLEAR, OVER THIS YEAR, AS COVID HAS WRECKED LIVES AND IMPACTED ON FAMILIES EVERYWHERE. WITHOUT SPORTS, PEOPLE GET ILL AND, THEN, THEY RELY ON THE NHS TO MAKE THEM BETTER, OR GIVE THEM THE CARE THEY TRULY MERIT.
SPORTS CREATE WELLBEING, BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY, SO WE MUST RETURN TO THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
IN ORDER TO DO THAT, CLUBS AND STADIA HAVE TO BE MADE SAFE AND KEEP ALL INVOLVED FREE FROM HARM, SO MYCLUB IS PARTNERING RNBIOSERVICES TO MAKE EVERYTHING SAFE AND ENSURE TESTING IS DONE, SO MANY THANKS TO THEM.
THANKS, ALSO, GO TO STEVE SHORT FOR ALLOWING US TO USE THE VENUE, AND CO-OPERATING WITH EVERYTHING NEEDED ON THE DAY.
GOOD LUCK TO THE 2 LEGENDS MANAGING THEIR RESPECTIVE TEAMS, SAM AND HARRY-LOCKING HORNS AND BEING AS COMPETITIVE AS EVER I’M SURE!
THEY’LL BE FIGHTING FOR THE COVAID CUP, KINDLY DONATED BY MAPPIN AND WEBB, SO MY THANKS TO THEM FOR THAT SPLENDID GESTURE-IT WILL BE MUCH ADMIRED AND TREASURED.
I LOVE TO SEE A DRAW, MAYBE 10 ALL, THAT WAY, EVERYONE IS A WINNER-HARRY’S ALREADY BEEN CROWNED A KING, SO MAYBE IT’LL BE KING SAM SHARING THE THRONE THIS TIME AROUND?
WHATEVER THE RESULT, ON THE DAY, THE OUTRIGHT WINNER WILL BE MASK OUR HEROES, AS A DEMONSTRATION OF THE DEBT WE ALL OWE THEM, HAVING TO DEAL WITH VERY ILL PATIENTS IN THE MOST DIFFICULT OF CIRCUMSTANCES.
THE VACCINE WILL PLACE ADDITIONAL BURDENS ON THEM, SO LET’S NOT FORGET THE NEED TO HAVE THEM IN OUR MINDS AT ALL TIMES.
I HOPE THE DAY WILL BE A HUGE SUCCESS AND BRINGS MINDS AND HEARTS TOGETHER, TO REJOICE IN THE GAME WE ALL LOVE. WHENEVER THERE’S  A NEED, THE PUBLIC STEP UP TO THE PLATE AND, THIS TIME, I’M CONFIDENT WE’LL ALL FEEL VERY PROUD OF THE CONTRIBUTIONS AND SACRIFI
