Top 10 Movies Of 2017
Our annual tradition of counting down our favorite movies of calendar years continues, with a discussion of the best in cinema from 2017. We're firmly of the opinion that ranking art -- and even giving awards for art -- is stupid, but people like lists! And what's great about shows like this is: hopefully it exposes you to stuff you've not seen, and it makes your world a little bigger and a little more empathic. We hope you enjoy!

TV: Damon Lindelof & Tom Perrotta talk "The Leftovers"
In just three seasons and 28 episodes, "The Leftovers" has taken a place among the great series ever created. Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta discuss grief and the unknown, and how they translated a fringe HBO series about what's left behind after The Rapture into a sci-fi, psychological, spy, family drama that resonates so loudly in our connection-free times.

Wish Chris did these more often. The top ten lists are always fun.
Better Than Even His Fantasy Football Show!
Chris Harris’ fantasy football podcast is an essential listen, but I love Juggernaut even more! I'm new to it having just discovered about ten days ago. I hope he resumes producing episodes more often. He is an engaging host and every episode has been excellent!
It’s so great
I’m a fan of Chris’ football show, and some guest there made a pun about a juggernaut which is the only reason I know this show exists....and I’m so glad they did. Great guests, honest conversations, thought provoking, at times challenging. I feel like this show has many of the aspects Chris seems to look for in the films he loves (to understand what I mean download any of the movie countdown episodes, especially the Coen Bros episode, as an example of these characteristics he returns to when talking about movies he enjoys.)
He took a couple well deserved days off from his football show for Thanksgiving, but that left me without that normal hour of my day where Chris makes me smarter about football; I filled that time slot (and more as I drove a lot this Holiday weekend) with this show, and Chris helped make me a smarter consumer of content and examiner of life.
Check it out. Hit subscribe now even if you won’t get to listen to it for a while, the day you click play you’ll be happy it’s there.
