    Letting It Be for You

In this episode, I'm reflecting on what has unfolded since letting go of teaching and how that decision has created more space, clarity, and gratitude in my life. What once might have felt like a failure now feels like an essential part of the journey, a path I needed to walk in order to fully understand what is and isn't meant for me. I share how this experience has led me into a deeper period of self reflection, where old patterns and questions have begun to surface. One of the biggest realizations has been noticing how easy it is for me to show up when something is in service of others, and how much more challenging it can be to stay committed to something that is just for me, especially when it comes to my writing practice. Rather than rushing to fix or solve this pattern, I'm allowing myself to sit with it, to get curious, and to explore what it might be asking of me. I'm also leaning into a new intention of practicing both devotion and detachment. Devotion in showing up consistently to what matters, and detachment in releasing the need for a specific outcome. I also open up about my relationship with intuition and the moments where I find myself wanting to disconnect, even when I feel deeply connected. This push and pull has led me to think more about how we relate to the different parts of ourselves, especially the ones that feel protective or afraid. This episode is an invitation to hold all parts of yourself with compassion. The parts that feel aligned and open, and the parts that feel uncertain or resistant. They all belong, and they all have something to offer as you continue to grow.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. The Path That Was Meant to End

In this episode, I'm reflecting on a recent experience that challenged my understanding of alignment. We often think of alignment as something that feels easy, flowing, and forward moving, but sometimes it leads us down a path that ultimately comes to an end. And that, too, can be part of the process. I share my journey of returning to teaching through Pilates after stepping away from being a barre instructor. What initially felt aligned and supported quickly shifted into something that no longer felt true. Even with external validation and positive feedback, I found myself feeling drained, disconnected, and out of alignment with how I wanted to spend my time. Through this experience, I realized that the lesson wasn't to push through or prove something to myself. The real growth came from recognizing when something was no longer right and having the courage to walk away. Choosing to leave, even when I was close to finishing what I started, became an act of self-trust and self-respect. I also reflect on how revisiting this path gave me the closure I didn't have before. Without stepping back into that role, I might have always wondered if I had made the wrong choice. Instead, I now feel a deep sense of clarity and peace, along with a renewed appreciation for the space and rhythm of my life as it is now.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. Stepping Into Your Intuitive Gifts

In this episode, I'm building on last week's tarot reading and exploring a deeper layer of what it means to step out of hiding. While the raccoon card often speaks to creativity and artistic expression, I felt called to focus on another aspect of that message, the intuitive gifts we carry and the ways we sometimes keep them hidden. I share more about my own journey with intuition and how that connection has evolved over time. While I've always been sensitive and tuned in, it took years of exploration, practice, and openness to fully acknowledge and trust that inner wisdom. Tools like tarot became a bridge, helping me understand how that connection speaks and how to receive it more clearly. In this episode, I walk through some of the ways our inner wisdom communicates with us. For some, it shows up through visuals, like images or scenes unfolding. For others, it comes through words, whether that's an inner voice or through writing and journaling. And for many, it's felt through the body, in subtle sensations, emotions, or physical signals that guide and affirm what is true. I also reflect on how important it is to build a relationship with your own intuition before trying to share it outwardly. Strengthening that connection creates a sense of trust and grounding, which makes it easier to step forward and express what you are receiving in a way that feels aligned and authentic. This episode is an invitation to gently explore your own intuitive gifts, whatever form they may take. You don't have to rush or have all the answers. It can begin with curiosity, with openness, and with allowing yourself to acknowledge that this part of you exists.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. Trusting What's Beneath the Surface

In this episode, I'm sharing a tarot reading for the month ahead and reflecting on the themes that are emerging as we step into a new season. As spring begins and we enter a new astrological year, this feels like a moment of renewal, creativity, and quiet transformation. I walk through a four card clarity spread, beginning with the raccoon as the overall theme. This card speaks to the experience of being a creative in hiding, navigating questions around identity, self-expression, and the fear of being fully seen. It invites us to explore what parts of ourselves we've been keeping tucked away and what it might look like to step forward with more honesty and authenticity. From there, I explore the Ace of Wands, which brings in the energy of new beginnings and creative potential. This card asks us to consider what we want to nurture and grow in this next chapter, without needing to have all the answers. Creativity thrives in openness, and this moment is an invitation to follow what sparks something within you. I also reflect on the High Priestess, which calls us inward. This is a time to reconnect with intuition, to listen to what exists beneath the surface, and to trust the quieter forms of knowing that don't always come with clear explanations. There is wisdom in the unknown, and part of this season is learning how to move with it rather than resist it. Finally, I share the message of Judgment, reframed as an invitation into forgiveness. Letting go of old identities, old fears, and the parts of ourselves that were built around survival allows space for something new to emerge. This is not about rejecting who you were, but honoring that version of yourself while allowing growth to unfold. This episode is a reflection on what it means to step out of hiding, to trust your inner voice, and to create from a place that feels true. Wherever you are in your own season, there is space for you to grow, to explore, and to become. Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. A Life With Room to Breathe

In this episode, I'm reflecting on what this new season is asking of me and the kind of life I want to create moving forward. As spring begins, I've been thinking about what I want to release and how I want to move ahead with more intention. I share how the idea of slow living has been resonating, but not quite fully capturing what I need. Instead, I've been drawn to the idea of spacious living. For me, this means creating a rhythm that allows for both movement and pause, where action is balanced with open space to think, feel, and simply be. I reflect on how different environments have shaped my understanding of busyness and how easy it is to fall into patterns that no longer feel aligned. Over time, I've realized that the life I want to build now is not about returning to who I was, but about honoring who I have become. That means letting go of old identities, old habits, and even small pieces of life that no longer feel true. This episode is an invitation to redefine what balance looks like for you. To consider where you might be holding onto a version of yourself that has already shifted, and to explore what it would feel like to create more space in your days, your routines, and your inner world.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. Finding Your Creative Shoreline

In this episode, I'm continuing the reflection from last week and sharing what has unfolded as I sat with questions around visibility, creativity, and social media. I talk about a realization that came up for me while trying to grow my online presence. Discomfort is often part of growth, but not all discomfort leads us in the right direction. Sometimes we end up pushing ourselves toward things that feel misaligned simply because we believe they are what we are supposed to do. As I reflected on this, I began to notice that the pressure I felt around social media was pulling me away from the ways I naturally like to create and connect. For me, writing has always been the most authentic form of expression. While the act of writing feels natural, sharing that writing publicly still holds a vulnerable edge, and that is where the real growing edge seems to live. I also share a perspective that helped me reframe how I think about online spaces. Instead of imagining the internet as one large environment, I began to see social media as open water, while the quieter corners of the internet, personal writing, blogs, and intimate creative spaces feel more like the shoreline. This episode is an invitation to consider where your own energy feels most aligned. Growth does not always mean pushing harder into spaces that drain you. Sometimes it means returning to the places where your voice feels most natural and allowing your creativity to meet people there.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life. Living a Creative Life Offline and Online

In this episode, I'm reflecting on two themes that have been on my mind lately: visibility and creativity. As someone building an online business and sharing creative work publicly, I've been exploring what it means to be visible as a leader while also noticing a growing desire for privacy and time away from social media. Platforms that once felt inspiring and creatively energizing now often feel draining or disconnected, and I've been questioning whether they still serve the purpose they once did. This reflection led me to think more deeply about creativity and what it really means to live a creative life. For me, creativity is less about productivity or performance and more about curiosity, expression, and allowing ideas to unfold naturally. Writing has become one of the primary ways I explore that process. At the same time, creativity often feels most meaningful when it is witnessed. There's something powerful about creating something that matters to you and having another person see it, acknowledge it, and connect with it. When those moments of authentic witnessing feel harder to find online, it can raise questions about where genuine creative communities live today. This episode is an open reflection on the evolving role of social media, the longing for authentic connection, and the search for spaces where creativity can still feel shared and alive. Returning Home to Yourself

In this episode, I'm sharing a collective tarot reading for the month of March. I'm using a four card clarity spread and drawing from the Wild Unknown Tarot and Animal Spirit decks, which have been part of my practice since the beginning of my tarot journey. The overall theme for this month is the Turtle card, which feels grounding, wise, and deeply supportive. This energy invites us to return home to ourselves, to honor the path we have walked, and to trust the wisdom we have gathered along the way. As we move toward spring and the start of a new astrological cycle, there is a sense of renewal and beginning again. Everything you have experienced has shaped you for this moment. The supporting cards, the Ten of Pentacles and the Ten of Cups, speak to abundance, generosity, and fullness. They remind us that there is beauty in both giving and receiving, and that when we tend to our emotional world and our physical life with care, we create a sense of overflow rather than depletion. There is an invitation here to trust your role in your community and to recognize that simply being yourself is a form of service. The Star card anchors the reading with hope and optimism. It encourages us to look up, to soften our grip on certainty, and to allow ourselves to believe in renewal. Even after dark or uncertain seasons, light returns. There is richness in simple pleasures and in the foundational spaces where earth meets water. This month is an invitation to slow down just enough to reconnect with what matters most. Tend to your inner world. Care for your outer life. Trust that your story is meaningful and that your presence carries light, even when you cannot see the impact directly.   Kim Kogane is a writer and intuitive guide helping you navigate the tender in-between seasons of life.
