The only podcast to proudly originate from the basement of sports bloggers, The Big Weekend explores the stories other websites deem too silly to cover. And some serious ones as well. A rotating cast of writers from The Big Lead bring their aversion to needless hot takes and willingness to laugh every Monday and Thursday. A major name from the world of sports media may pop their head in every once in awhile to talk about the industry or to simply have their time wasted with arbitrary lists and general nonsense.

    No Sleep for Brooklyn

    No Sleep for Brooklyn

The Brooklyn Nets are juggling multiple controversies as Kyrie Irving continues to pass up opportunities to apologize and Ime Udoka has been selected, somewhat perplexingly, as the man to fix this mess. The Big Lead's Kyle Koster and Liam McKeone discuss all the tumult and if there's any hope on the horizon. Then, tonight is the night we'll know for once and for all if baseball is better than football based on how many people watch on television. You can taste the excitement in the air. As well as the sarcasm. What do these ratings-obsessed people think they're accomplishing and why do they want to live their lives like that? Plus, having the bravery to admit that, actually, a World Series no-hitter is pretty cool.

A sports show for non-sports people

It’s the Seinfeld of sports podcasts, a show about nothing, yet you love it. Enjoyable for sports fans and non-sports fans alike!

the only sports podcast I listen to

I don’t even bother listening to other sports podcasts. They’re all the same, even the big ones. Zzzzz. This one is the best. The Kyle Koster show has staying power.
