    In this premiere episode of The Learning Launchpad, I team up with Dr James Patterson, a Biologist and Head of Department in a sixth form college, to discuss the goals and processes of evaluation in education. How can we find out whether the learning engagements we have designed or facilitated are actually working? What sort of evaluation data can we gather as education practitioners? Should we rely on standard student feedback process? And what does "effective learning" actually look like in a world where schools, colleges and universities are no longer exclusively the gatekeepers to knowledge?
