    Dr. Nataly Montes-Chinea is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. She earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine where she graduated with honors. Following that, she completed a neuromuscular fellowship at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. Additionally, she was a part of a research team when interning at the Mayo Clinic.

    Dr. John Carbon is a physiatrist practicing in an Inpatient Acute Rehab Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to his current job, he was a medical director for seven years, had his own practice and did interventional work. He received his medical degree from the University of New England’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. At Johns Hopkins University, he completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. In 2017, Dr. John Carbon received an award in the Rhode Island Monthly for Top Doctors in the category of Physical Medicine Rehabilitation.

    Dr. Paul Johnstone is a family medicine physician based in Virginia Beach. He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has been in practice for twenty-seven years and a partner in care with Legacy Care since 2016. He spent the majority of his career as an active duty physician in the United States Navy. During his Navy service, he cared for families on military bases in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Following his time in the Navy, Dr. Johnstone practiced as a medical director for a continuing care retirement community.

    Curstina Jennings, PMH-NP is a psychiatric nurse practitioner based in Richmond, Virginia. She provides support and counseling to patients in a nursing home as well as other care settings. Curstina received a Bachelor of Nursing from Norfolk State University. Following that, she earned her Masters degree from Walden University specializing in psychiatric mental health. Throughout her career, she has provided patient care in skilled nursing facilities and large healthcare systems. Prior to her career in medicine, Curstina served in the United States Airforce where she received several awards and honors.

    Lisa Kelleher, DNP, PMHNP, specializes in psychiatric and mental health care. She provides care for patients in an assisted living community located in Williamsburg, Virginia, and in other settings. Dr. Keheller received her nursing degree from Northeastern University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Community and Social Justice from Guilford College and a Masters of Science in Human Services from Northeastern University. In addition, she earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University with a specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse.

She completed several oversea tours, where she worked as a clinical instructor of combat lifesaving and navigation. Yolanda received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from McKendree University in Illinois and a Master of Science in Acute Care Adult Gerontology from Walden University in Minnesota. She completed her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner fellowship through the California Emergency Physician residency program.

    Dr. Sarah Szanton is a professor at John Hopkins University’s School of Nursing. She also is an Endowed Professor for Health Equity and Social Justice and is the Director of the Center for Innovative Care in Aging. Dr. Szanton is the founder of the national program, Community Aging in Place Advancing Better Living for Elders program, also known as CAPABLE. This program provides low-income older adults with handyman services, in-home nursing and occupational therapy. Dr. Szanton graduated with a bachelor of arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Harvard College. She then earned an undergraduate degree in nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, where she also earned her Masters of Science in Nursing. Dr. Szanton next earned her Doctor of Philosophy from Johns Hopkins University as well.

    Dr. Danny Felty is a practicing family medicine physician and current medical director of several long-term care facilities in Virginia. Renowned for his expertise in post-acute care, he was appointed to serve on the Governor of Virginia’s COVID-19 Long-Term Care Facility Task Force.  Dr. Felty serves as president of the state chapter for the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. He also is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and member of the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians. A distinguished graduate of Virginia Military Institute, Dr. Felty earned his bachelors of science degree in biology and minor in psychology. He then earned a doctor of medicine degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University where he also completed his residency.

    Julie Miller is an advanced care practitioner. Her background in medicine spans more than 20 years, delivering care to patients in healthcare systems and post-acute care facilities around the nation.     A renowned infections disease specialist, Dr. Cieza has been delivering patient care for more than a decade. He received his medical degree from San Marcos Senior National University Lima Peru and his internal medicine residency program at Christ Hospital of Cincinnati. Dr. Cieza then completed an infectious disease fellowship University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Chicago. Following this work, he managed HIV/AIDS clinical trials at the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Cieza is board certified in both infectious disease and internal medicine. She has a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati, a bachelor’s of science in nursing from Winston Salem State University. Prior to healthcare, Lynn earned a MBA from Campbell University and a bachelor’s of science in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University. For the past several years, Lynn has focused on infectious disease, working with patients who have chronic diseases including hepatitis, HIV/AIDS and more. Her past experience includes a focus on intensive care unit, pulmonary, renal and cardiac patient care in hospital and primary care practice settings.
