    What is Ayurveda and why should we support our Gut Health?

    Welcome to a collaborative workshop with Wholesome Ayurveda and Rose Wellbeing. Both Geri from Wholesome Ayurveda and Nutritionist Emily from Rose Wellbeing specialise in digestive health. Together they will be sharing with you their insight, knowledge and understanding of the digestive system, how the immune system works with in this system, the liver, toxic load and top tips with in Ayurveda and Nutrition that can support us to live our best lives. Geri became interested in the digestive system, from having suffered with various health issues throughout her life, a lot of them being gut related. Ayurveda's whole system is built around good digestive health, as it sees that all illness manifests from poor digestion, and also takes into consideration all aspects of a persons life; diet, lifestyle, mental health and spiritual health, which led Geri to become an Ayurvedic practitioner and share the tools that have helped her and her clients. Emily Rose, founder of The Letgo Studio and Nutritionist with Rose Wellbeing - loves to share wellbeing and healthful practices that supports us to be our best selves, as well as collaborate with other practitioners. As an artist and practitioner herself she brings health and wellness creatively together to create unique experiences for groups and individuals.     Curious Mandalas and Mindful Drawing. How can we relax with creativity?

    Amanda from Creatively Curious and Emily Rose from Letgo Studio bring you a light hearted conversation about the Art of Mandala Drawing and Minfulness. Referencing their upcoming workshop Mindful Mandala Faces - no experience is necessary just the desire to create and to soak in the meditative benefits that creativity can bring. Amanda has been making Mandalas for over 10 years, and as part of her journey Creatively Curious was born. A mandala, which is Sanskrit for “circle” or “discoid object,” is a geometric design that holds a great deal of symbolism in Hindu and Buddhist cultures. In their most basic form, mandalas are circles contained within a square and arranged into sections that are all organized around a single, central point. Drawing a mandala a day has incredible therapeutic benefits and mindful qualities, Amanda talks about how they have helped her and how we can introduce this to our daily practice for our wellbeing too. The Letgo Studio hosts Letgo Life Drawing in its home-town Brighton and events beyond where Amanda and Emily met. Mindful Mandala Faces brings you a combination of the two - life drawing and mandalas.
