    Star Wars and Star Trek!

    Star Wars and Star Trek!

Good morning, afternoon, and evening! Well, it’s come to this…Wars vs. Trek. Lightsabers vs. Phasers. Shipping Luke X Han vs. Shipping Kirk X Spock. There can only be one…or can they coexist? Kaylie, Bodio, and Gibby travel to the Final Frontier and a galaxy far, far away to discuss the cultural impact and philosophies of both legendary science fiction franchises. Perhaps they can finally answer the question of who your father really is...it's probably Captain Kirk. The man got around. Also included: Kaylie's shockingly good chicken impression, a tree falling in the forest, and two buttermilk pancakes served with eggs cooked to order, bacon strips, and sausage links.

Bodio, Kaylie, and Fallout super-fan Gibby are here to examine the new adaptation of the beloved game series. But does it live up to the hype? Should you look forward to life in a Vault? And how is Walton Goggins just so good at playing dirty, cool cowboys? Tune in and find out! Also included: the innocence and joy of 19 year old Gibby, Bo fanboying over Frank Horrigan of Fallout 2, and a gabagool reference that lands Kaylie in hot water with the Italian Embassy.

    Wes Anderson!

    Wes Anderson!

Good morning, afternoon, and evening! What a quaint little episode we have here, fully of quirks and whimsy. Hopefully nothing horribly violent or depressing happens during the duration! Bodio, Gibby, and Kaylie dive into the perfectly symmetrical world of Wes Anderson, one of today's most acclaimed directo- , er, auteurs, to take a look at his films' aesthetics, pacing, and rapid-fire writing. So put on your favorite 60s outfit, tap your foot to the beat, and prepare to experience an overwhelming sense of ennui for a time you never knew existed that will cause an existential breakdown while delicate strings play in the background. Neat! Also included: Western New York's crimes against egg rolls, the first ever Crispy Awards, and more!

Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049!

Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049!

Good morning, afternoon, and evening! The future is here…2019. What could it bring us? Flying cars, intergalactic travel, maybe even morally questionable authority figures (well, at least one of those things was realistic)? Bodio, Kaylie, and Gibby dive into the sci-fi classic Blade Runner and its highly-praised sequel Blade Runner 2049 to talk about their influence on the cyberpunk genre and the importance of knowing which version of a movie you're watching (do not rent the theatrical release). Also included: Batista's theme song, Batista's tiny glasses, and Batista's sick saxophone riffs.

Also included: sleepy girl mocktails, tomato hacks, and H A T M A N.

    Cringe!

    Cringe!

Good morning, afternoon, and evening! An episode coming out a day late? Pretty cringe, bro. Kaylie, Bodio, and Gibby explore the varieties of this widely discussed sensation in the media world, whether it's the intentional variety (The Office, American Idol ) or the earnest and passionate, yet awkward and confusing kind (see all of our fan-fiction and self-inserts from 2007 onwards). Is it a necessary part of growing up? Can a person recover from all the Dragonball Z/Linkin Park AMVs they watched as a teenager? Tune in and find out! Also included: the beavers manifest their destiny, the hamsters reveal their divinity, and Punxsutawney Phil practices his evil sorcery.

An Analysis for Post-Grad Life

This podcast has allowed a former English major the opportunity to analyze and think critically about so many different things. From dissecting and talking about broadway movie adaptations to the connotation and existence of Disney villains, this podcast takes a topic, deep dives into it, and provides so much comedic relief while truly talking about the implications of what these different forms of media have in current society. This bunch is so much fun to listen to on top of this. Cannot recommend enough.
