Now that #TLOTW Church has fulfilled with celebrating the 2026 Holy Supper, The Light From The Inside returns with Episode 69—and this time, I've opened the door to a story that has been years in the making. Discover in this episode - what happened when a coworker of mine's became one of the first people outside my immediate circle to sit down and watch my unfinished film. My guest in this episode screened the working cut of my testimonial documentary, "Resolved to Remain"—joins me in conversation to share his honest review, reaction, questions, and impressions of what he saw. "Resolved to Remain" is a testimonial documentary and historical account of a true story still in the making: a multigenerational journey spanning five Fontes generations—and counting— within the Church of the Living God, Pillar and Ground of the Truth, The Light of the World. Beginning with the struggles, sacrifices, and near-death experiences surrounding my family's early years, the film traces how God's work unfolded across generations—from my father's service during the Vietnam War, through my parents' marital hardships and search for God, to their eventual encounter with The Light of the World Church in 1973. It is also the story of how the Church came to Redlands, California, and how the testimonies, sacrifices, evangelization, and perseverance of those early members became part of a much larger story—one that continues through the fifth generation of my family today. Captured through family interviews, historical accounts, archival material, and testimonies recorded during the 2019–2022 COVID pandemic, the documentary seeks to tell this story through one enduring principle: “Just give your testimony and let the Lord do the rest.” At its heart, "Resolved to Remain" is a declaration of faith—a testimony of individuals and families who, despite hardships, misunderstandings, afflictions, and great tribulations, have determined to remain steadfast in God's path, faithful in their service, and unwavering in their hope for the promise of everlasting life. In this episode, you'll hear the perspective of someone who encountered the story not as a member of my family, but simply as a coworker who was invited to sit down, watch the working cut, and experience the story for himself. What did he think? What stood out to him? What moved him? And what did he see in a story that, until now, has largely lived within the memories and testimonies of those who experienced it? I'll also share more about the journey behind the documentary, why I felt compelled to preserve these testimonies, and why this story extends far beyond my own family. I am currently hoping to publicly release "Resolved to Remain" in October 2026, God permitting. Until then, I invite you to listen to Episode 69 of The Light From The Inside and hear one person's first reaction to a story that began generations ago—and is still being written today. Because God's work continues from generation to generation. ...and we are "Resolved to Remain." This world yet lacks light, but The Light Of The World Church members are working United as One to deliver Light to its four corners, because “the best way for the Truth to shine is to share it” (Apostle SJF).
