In this deeply moving episode, Kimberly Katherine welcomes author, speaker, and storyteller Lorraine Ansell for an honest and heart-opening conversation about living with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), chronic pain, and invisible illness. Lorraine shares her remarkable journey of spending more than four decades unaware that the sensations she experienced every day were actually chronic pain. Together, Kimberly and Lorraine explore what it means to surrender, not as giving up, but as learning to listen, trust, and develop a new relationship with pain. Through stories of movement, somatic healing, breathwork, creativity, and self-compassion, Lorraine offers a powerful perspective on finding purpose and peace within life's most challenging experiences. This episode is dedicated to everyone navigating hEDS, EDS, chronic pain, invisible illness, and to the loved ones who walk beside them.
