    What Are You Waiting For: Exploring Sexy

    Welcome to the Lima Bean Gleeks!  Our names are Kendra & Alexis... and we LOVE Glee. This show was such an impactful part of our growing up, and it's still a part of us today. We want to share our passion with you and take you all the way back to 2009 with us. Join us every Saturday morning at 8 am (est) for a chit-chat at the Lima Bean as we spill all the Glee tea! We'll analyze an episode with you and talk about just what it was that made us fall in love with it all.     I Thought You'd Always Be Mine: Exploring Comeback

    Welcome to the Lima Bean, Gleeks! Our names are Kendra & Alexis and we want to talk about Glee... with YOU. Our teenage years were absolutely devoted to Glee, Darren Criss, & everything musical theatre! We were two girls who grew up surrounded by Glee-mani and the societal impact of a TV show that wasn't afraid to break boundaries through both music and storyline. Join us every Saturday morning at 8 am (est) for a chit-chat at the Lima Bean where we'll analyze an episode, give our opinions, & reminisce what the world was like when the phenomenon came to life! This week, we're looking at an episode that we, once again, consider "purposeful filler." Although not the strongest episode of the season, Comeback provides some much-needed levity between the heavy topics of Silly Love Songs and the complex stories that reveal themselves in the next few episodes. Rumored to the Justin Bieber "tribute" episode, all eyes were on Comeback to provide great songs and a fun storyline based around the newest pop sensation of the time.     I Love You: Exploring Silly Love Songs

This show was such an important part of our childhoods and we want to share our love and appreciation for it with you. Join us every Saturday at 8 am (est) as we have a chit-chat at the Lima Bean and analyze an episode. Get ready to hear our opinions, stories, & all the fun facts we can remember.  Today, we're looking at the first Valentine's Day-themed episode: Silly Love Songs! To the two of us, this is a really important moment in Glee history and created a years' long tradition of Valentine's episodes that weren't always as "full of love" as you'd expect. This TV show meant so much to our childhoods and we're excited to share our thoughts, opinions, and experiences with you! Join us every Saturday at 8 am (est) as we analyze an episode of the series and reminisce about what it was like to watch the phenomenon come to life.  Today it's game day! We're talking about the biggest event of season 2, the super bowl! Sue Sylvester Shuffle is an iconic moment in Glee history and cemented the show as an important societal moment. This week, it's the championship football game and as the tensions rise between the football team and the glee club, the possible romance between Kurt and Blaine starts to intensify, and the glee girls make an unusual decision.     I Think I Wanna Marry You: Exploring Furt

    Welcome to the Lima Bean, Gleeks!  Our names are Kendra & Alexis... and we LOVE Glee. This show was such a big part of our childhoods and now we want to share our favorite show with you. Join us every Saturday morning at 8 am est as we analyze an episode of the show and share our memories of what it was like watching the phenomenon come to life.  This week, it's a Glee wedding! Burt and Carole surprise their boys with a proposal and the idea of a wedding. Excited about the upcoming day, Kurt gets to planning a wedding while the rest of the club, sans Finn, attempts to resolve the escalating bullying situation between Kurt and Karofsky. A cute and fun episode, with underlying tension, Furt explores a lot of classic glee themes like family, homophobia, bullying, and popularity.
