This podcast is transcendent. I can’t think of another word. Maybe because my vocabulary is pretty limited but I also think it’s an excellent descriptor. 10/10.

This is a late night talk show, but not like one you've heard before Which is not bad! Its amazing! Very well produced, great sound design and interesting voice. Highly recommend for people who are studying, want to listen to something late at night, or feeling alone :)
a late nite talk show in the truest sense

reducing 'aw, would you look at the time' to a genre, a species of audio show seems counterproductive. it's, ostensibly, a "late nite talk show" — which immediately suggests something akin to the tonight show, a hybrid of topical monologues and absurd skits and rehearsed interviews. all of the above make ... some type of appearance in 'aw, would you look at the time,' albeit hardly comparable to the mainstream, visual model. as made clear from episode one's prologue, this is a talk show in the most quintessential sense. it's a person, and then people, talking; whether or not their conversations happen at the day's tail end is irrelevant. the point is that we, the listeners, can nestle into our silent comforters and eavesdrop on a series of intimate conversations. it feels voyeuristic, maybe even wrong? but that those feelings come in conflict with the excitement engendered by listening in to these personal moments is why this talk show sounds special. i'm no podcast connoisseur, but i doubt there are many shows like this one.
