National Anthem Super Bowl
I have to disagree with you that Whitney Houston had the best national anthem at a Super Bowl. She did a lot of long runs and it was way too slow. My favorite was 1980 during the Iran hostage mayhem. Cheryl Ladd sang a pure national anthem!
Calls himself “Far Right Wing”.
That’s how he describes himself but 1. election denying. And desire for a cultish worship for a “strong man” authoritarian leader. 3. A false sense of moral superiority in white Christian nationalism. 4. A streak of isolationism. 5. Destain for democracy.
Let’s call what he is. A fascist by definition. Although, he has a compelling personality. You’d think we defeated fascism during WWII where my father was decorated with medals for duty in combat in Europe.
They call themselves “conservatives”. I think they are merely, “conserving” the American oligarchy created under “Citizens United”. It’s un-American. It’s Orwellian in scope.
Listen at your peril. It’s an indoctrination session in political lies, innuendo, and a twisted view of (non) patriotism.
Simply The Best
Mark is a Texas treasure, with a velvet voice he delivers current events in a witty and intelligent manner, yet is so down to earth. So happy to have the podcast , as I miss the first hour of live on air show due to work. And Mark, thank you for sharing your rich music knowledge, and also love the opening prayer ❤️ Never change , you are the best !
