I have to disagree with you that Whitney Houston had the best national anthem at a Super Bowl. She did a lot of long runs and it was way too slow. My favorite was 1980 during the Iran hostage mayhem. Cheryl Ladd sang a pure national anthem!

The final straw for me was Marks first show after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel. Mark didn’t want to cover the stories regarding what horrific things the Hamas terrorists had done to innocent Israelis because… ‘everyone else was talking about it enough’. He then proceeds to talk plenty about the Rangers, space, and music. If only I had come across some rando’s weird podcast that no one listens to, except Mark is touted by Salem as a conservative, political news, radio host. He didn’t even cover the pro-Palestinian rallies in Dallas and Houston. I had to hear about them from Ben Shapiro. Mark never stops talking while interviewing, and comes across as condescending, bloviating, angry, and holier than though. Whatever the subject, Mark is right, everyone else is stupid and wrong.

That’s how he describes himself but 1. election denying. And desire for a cultish worship for a “strong man” authoritarian leader. 3. A false sense of moral superiority in white Christian nationalism. 4. A streak of isolationism. 5. Destain for democracy.
Let’s call what he is. A fascist by definition. Although, he has a compelling personality. You’d think we defeated fascism during WWII where my father was decorated with medals for duty in combat in Europe.
They call themselves “conservatives”. I think they are merely, “conserving” the American oligarchy created under “Citizens United”. It’s un-American. It’s Orwellian in scope.
Listen at your peril. It’s an indoctrination session in political lies, innuendo, and a twisted view of (non) patriotism.
