    126 - Wal Mart Gym Shoe Vibes

    Hey there MF'ers! It's everyone's favorite time of year, new livery season! The smell of fresh paint and burning rubber as a few teams are already hitting the track. We dive in to a few of our favorite, and not so favorite liveries, and play some Questionable Trivia! All with our good friend and co-host Andy! Let's dive in! 9:05 - Special shoes! Starting off sharp with the Haas. Keeping it clean, simple and refined, similar to last year but still a good classic look. We're hoping Haas pulls off a few fun special liveries throughout the season. Rebull looking even more similar to last year's car than the Haas team? If it ain't broke... 15:00 - Audi comin' in HAWT with they're color scheming. Possibly ripping off the McLaren chrome look from last year at Silverstone. It does in fact go to the moon, and the orange inside the intake is a dastardly look.  22:35 - The Mercs, Andy hates 'em. Patrick didn't really look at it and overall we're not too impressed. Quite possibly ruined their car and their season with this total hackjob of a livery. The And-1's of 2026 F1. 29:20 - Let's enjoy talking about Alpine while we still can! Leaning in on the pink is favorable to all of us here at the Midfield Pod. Dan finds a weird shovel and digs a weird hole for a bit. Let's hope they can drive as well as they can paint this year. 33:50 - Boo! Ferrari Boo! We like red cars. Sold their soul for an ugly car. No such thing as bad press, but there is such a thing as a bad livery. 40:50 - Been a long time since I rock 'n rolled. Andy and Patrick agree that there needs to be some gold on this car in some form or another. Looks fake without any sponsorships adorned, but we like the initial look for our American team. Little Williams chat to round things out. 51:30 - This game is the worst thing Patrick participates in every year. What is, Questionable Trivia! Even with Andy's help, he still can't figure out how to crack Dan's questionable questions. Dan slides in some bike racing just for kicks.     125 - F1 New Years Resolutions

    Welcome to a new year with The Midfield Podcast!  We talk the darts, we talk the F1, and we even talk the unmentionables. We've got our New Year's resolutions locked in and ready to share. We won't talk about how many we've already broken, but the gloves are off for an official sidebar, so buckle in! 15:30 - Enough being dorks about the World Dart Championships, time for being dorks about next year's flock of F1 teams. We enact a total sidebar, put the beans down and begin our resolutions for each of the F1 teams on the grid next season. 22:10 - McLaren doesn't have much to improve on, but we've still got notes. On to Mercedes. We relish the opportunity to say George, a bit too much probably. Don't over-think it. 26:00 - The Energy Drink Team! Turns out we're a little predictable/repetitive when it comes to our resolutions, but the sentiment remains! Not sure if any of these teams held up to last year's rezzie's, so don't feel bad if you've goofed already too. 35:10 - Ferrari. Lather, rinse and repeat. Williams! One of our favorite's. The tree's good, let's see some fruits. Do these guys have what it takes to lock in and be consistent for the season we've been promised? Will the prophecy be as foretold?! we can't wait. VCARB. Arvid? Arnold. Ahhnald! 46:50 - Aston Martin. These guys need a vibe check. They've got the money, they've got the Newey, it's time to cut loose and have a little fun. No need to be such pouty-pants'. On to Haas. We never hope for an injury, but we have to admit we actually miss Ocon's dickish antics.  62:45 - Pierre needs help, and that's about all there is to say about the frenchies. The newbies! Cadillac and Audi are the hot new tickets, and Patty wants liveries to prove it. Or Checo with a long beard, one or the other. Let the good times roll!     123 - When keepin' it real goes wrong.

    Welcome back MFers! We got a big one lined up this week! Vegas recap, Abu preview, bad internets, carlos podiums, and of course a bean during the rules ON sidebar discussion? Oofdah, buckle up buttercup. This is a fun one. 14:40 - You carrot danglers-you. Patty's jumping around all over the place, but we're talking P10 challenge baby. You may not care, but that's cause you're not playing. We get in our picks each and every weekend, with hopefully a bit of discussion prior. It's a ton of fun, you should too. 30:10 - We like Ike! Problem is we like Yuki too. Will Isaak suffer the same silliness of the second seat at Red Bull? Dan loves my alliterations. Unlikely, but we're hoping. Patty likes good production value, and we've been getting some from the F1TV broadcasts. 40:10 - Quick Helmut rant and it's time for this weekend's preview. Underground pit lane gets us every time. Dan wants a sidebar to talk championship runs. Patty wants to keep the language, it's gonna get weird. Lots of nicknames in this segment of "who wins the title". The NECK! 56:13 - Bean... duh.     121 - For Nickname's Sake!

    Welcome back to the Midfield Pod! Where we occasionally talk about midfield Formula 1 racing action, but mostly just have fun. We like to have fun here. Join us for this week's episode where we recap some of our favorite names-for-drivers, new and old! Plus fun! 16:40 - A quick recap of the Mexico City GP, and we're already slippin' into bean turritory by 14:20. Barely into the nicknames segment and we dip into the box. We go through the whole paddock and remind you just who and what the hell we're talking about. 26:25 - Football announcers? Come on Dano, wrangle us back on track here. Patty The Strategist is not a hot start, but we're gonna roll with it, and he'll share is ever-wise... wisdom. We even the bean score at 41:10, while trying to figure out what happened to Lewis during the race. 44:05 - Road rules! Darth Rules, same thing. Hamilton tried to Darth, and he found out. 10 second penalty found out, down to 8th. Hyooge bummer for Lewis fans who were excited about a hot quali. New F1 benchmark? We punch bags. Go Packers!     Whats up, MFers,  It's time for another episode of the Mid Boys. Patrick and Dan broke down their favorite events from COTA, looked ahead to Mexico City and even talked about the $%^@*& drivers in a special post-script side bar.  16:00 - Dan's got some questions, and Patrick's got answers. Honda, Honda is the answer. We say our niceties about our lone North American driver, but we don't talk about Saturday. Livery chat! Good job VCARB. 34:45 - Lookin' ahead to Mexico. Head's up, this track's at a high elevation, and Dano's got beef with the stadium section. We admittedly slept on Mexico GP last year, and we're really hoping we get some similar excitement as we lock in our first BOLDIE's in a grip. 41:30 - Sidebar ACTIVATE! That's right, it's time to talk the no-talkies. It's a papaya-ridden Darth fest from here on out, but it's totally different from all 101 other episodes, promise.     119 - Burning Questions

    Welcome BACK Midfielders!   We've been a couple of busy bees these past few weeks, but it's great to get back into the podcasting chairs, talk race cars with your buddy, and have a few laughs. We've got it dialed right where we need it, can any midfield teams say the same? Dan looks to solve this and many other mysteries this episode. Will Patrick be helpful at all in answering these questions? Lord help us all. 23:19 - What are the time limits on Merc contracts? How much Ferrari can you possibly handle? How much can they handle? We've got it all covered and now it's time for the RB 2 seat and what happens to Yuki? What's on deck for Williams? We know how to win a podium in F1 in just 2 steps. Simple right? 35:08 - Bean! 40:16 - How do we see the bottom half of our Midfield finishing out the season? How many HR complaints have been filed at Aston Martin this year.
