for the most part listening to this podcast is like running into a fellow hobbyist you haven't seen in a while: You get caught up, have a nice chat, and come away feeling that the time spent wasn't wasted. That being said, I probably won't be adding it to my regular podcast feed. Why? In the past Mr. Whitaker was a regular on another, quite well-established tabletop gaming podcast, one that over the years had picked up some VERY bad habits, some of which had rubbed off on him, not the least of which being ragging on a certain game publisher. You don't like the products from 'Company X'? Fine. But to claim that they're 'not a real wargame company', warning your listeners not to put Company Y in the same group as Company X because company Y 'Iisn't evil', and to claim that the current less-than-stellar state of the Wargaming industry in the UK is Company X's fault because they're daring to create products people actually want to buy just reeks of someone trying way too hard to rack up those ever-so-precious indie points. I give the man props for going out and doing his own thing, but doing the same stupid stuff the 'cool kids' are doing just makes your show just another timewaster.
