The Missing Madonna

It was great to hear the story and it was particularly touching hearing a daughter’s love. It’s very well done. I had the great pleasure of seeing the painting up close and personal in the Pink Place. It was a wonderful adventure to discover it by just following the sign to the castle. I didn’t know what I would find there. There was so much to experience. One the all time favorite quotes to me was said by a docent there on a different topic, “You’re well up wee lassie!” It was all magical, but being that close to two great masters without a load of people around was incredible. It’s sad to know others won’t get the same experience. But they shouldn’t miss the chance to see it in the gallery. Ms. Graham should be enormously proud of her father for recovering an exquisite painting. Even the painting isn’t there anymore, it’s still well worth the time to explore the castle. I’ve gone through loads of castles and after 35 years, it’s still one of my all time favorites.

Really gripping tale told in excellent detail. But, my gawd, the first time she uses the colloquial term "boozer" it is quite charming. By the 778th time she INSISTS on ONLY uses the term "boozer" for the name of a pub/tavern/bar/taproom/watering hole/saloon/alehouse... it is ANNOYING!! Open up a thesaurus once and a while.
