We spoke with music journalist Steve Rosen, author of the novel Tonechaser, an in depth look at his personal relationship with Eddie Van Halen.
Steve has been a music journalist for nearly 50 years and has had the opportunity to talk to some of the greats! AC/DC, Brian May, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Jimmy Paige, Randy Rhodes, Mick Mars, Michael
Jackson, Pink Floyd, Zepplin and of course Eddie Van Halen.
He has written biographies for Ozzy Osbourne, Prince, Springsteen and more, has hit the road with Humble Pie, Heart, Van Halen and the Who.
It was a wonderful interview where we talk about how he fell into this world, the relationships he has forged, the mistakes he has made.

I just started listening about a few months ago, and all I’ve got to say is that I have a ton of episodes to catch up on. The pop culture is amazing and it definitely takes me back to all the memories I had as a kid. Great work! Keep it up!
If I had to complain about one thing, it’s only that I wish they would play the song or theme song longer before they talk about it.
