    EP 10-Dr. Marcus Johnson, Union with Christ as the Gospel of Salvation

    Today’s featured guest is Dr. Marcus Peter Johnson who is Professor of Theology at Moody Bible Institute. He holds a BA in Theology from the Moody Bible Institute, a Master of Arts in Systematic Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a PhD from the University of Toronto. Along with writing his doctoral dissertation on union with Christ in the theology of John Calvin, he is also the author of One with Christ: An Evangelical Theology of Salvation, he is also the coauthor (with John C. Clark) of The Incarnation of God: The Mystery of the Gospel as the Foundation of Evangelical Theology, and he is also the co-author (with John C. Clark) of the book “A Call to Christian Formation: How Theology Makes Sense of Our World.” He and his wife, Stacie, live in Chicago with their three sons, and serves as an associate rector at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Geneva.     EP 9-Dr. Deb Gorton, Counseling Psychology and Theology

    Today’s featured guest is Dr.Deborah Gorton who is the Gary Chapman Chair of Marriage, Family Ministry, and Therapy and she is the Program Head and Associate Professor of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Moody Theological Seminary and Graduate School. She has a BA from Arizona State University, a MA in Theology, a MA in Psychology, and a PhD in Clinical Psychology all from Fuller Theological Seminary. Dr. Gorton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has worked as a change agent for individuals, organizations, and emerging leaders, helping them refine, embrace, and thrive in their purpose. Built on the foundation of relationship, her core philosophy is that collaboration in community produces radical transformation.     Today’s featured guest is Professor Brian Kammerzelt who is an Associate Professor and Chair of the communications department at Moody Bible Institute. Professor Kammerzelt has a Bachelors in Multimedia Design, Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations from Bradley University. He also has a Master of Arts in Communication & Culture from Trinity International University. He applies his academic and practical expertise to help Christians understand, engage, and create culture.     EP 7-Dr. Craig Hendrickson, A Theological Analysis of Missiology in America

    Today’s featured guest is Dr. Craig Hendrickson. After retiring from an eleven-year career in the Canadian Football League in 2001, Dr. Craig Hendrickson spent sixteen years in full-time ministry in Long Beach-California, Brooklyn-New York, and here in Chicago as well. His service in church settings included time as an assistant and lead pastor, and as a district leader in the Free Methodist Church. He has also served as an adjunct professor for Fuller Theological Seminary and North Park University, and as a trainer and leadership partner with the Arrow Leadership Program. His passion is equipping current and future leaders to engage in multicultural and missional ministry, and his research interests center on bringing these distinct disciplines together. His dream is to see a network of leaders working toward spiritual transformation, racial healing, and economic justice in diverse urban communities across North America through multiethnic ministry. Dr. Hendrickson has a BA in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Divinity from Regent College, a Master of Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary, and a PhD in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary focusing on missionary leadership and intercultural ministry.     EP 6-Jeremy Pettit, Nonprofits and Effective Gospel Communication in a Technopolitan Society

    Today’s featured guest is Professor Jeremy Pettitt who has poured his life into communications, leadership and teaching in a variety of contexts. Professor Pettitt currently teaches Organizational Media for the Communications department at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago,Illinois USA. His areas of instruction include Media Strategies, Nonprofit Communications, Team Dynamics, Visual Design and Public Speaking. Professor Pettitt previously taught for eight years as an adjunct professor in the Communications department at Trinity International University in Deerfield, IL. He graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in Communication and Culture from Trinity Graduate School as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Studies from Christian Life College. In his most recent business role, Jeremy served for over seven years as Vice President for Awana, a global Christian nonprofit organization that currently engages over 4 million children, youth and adults in over 120 countries around the world.     EP 1-Dr. Michael Milco, Social Work and the Gospel in the 21st Century

    Today’s featured guest is Dr. Michael Milco and we discuss how social work intersects with thegospel in the 21st century. Dr. Michael Milcohas a PhD in the School of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago. His dissertation topic focuses on the coping styles used by Angolan refugees. He received a Master of Social Work from Loyola University, a Master of Arts from in Communications from Wheaton College and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Since 2005, he has been an associate professor at Moody Bible Institute in the Educational Ministries department. Michael teaches classes on counseling, theories of personality, social work practices, multicultural counseling and statistics. Formerly, Michael was in pastoral ministry for 22 years. For 13 of those years he was the pastor of families and small groups at the Moody Church. Michael is known for his warm, engaging and relaxed approach to counseling. He is highly skilled in doing work in couples therapy. He has worked with adolescents and adults struggling with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and spiritual problems. He has experience in treating issues related tomarital infidelity, men’s issues, depression, anxiety, grief and loss.
