Many many years ago I had braces . When you get braces the orthodontist gives you wax to put on the wire so it doesn’t cut your cheek .However , my brother didn’t know this . One day he saw me put it in my mouth and leave it there . He asked , what was that for?
Being the great brother I am I immediately told him I had to eat large amounts of wax a day to keep my jaw moving , for what ever reason he believed me and just walked of . Then i went and told my mom who immediately called my dad who was at work and teaching . They both couldn’t believe what I had convinced him and told me to tell the truth . So I was wondering, have any of you had braces and if so do you have any fun story’s to share?
#149: Problematic Aural Assumptions
I have never watched the podcast–only listened. Even after listening to dozens of episodes, my exclusively aural experience continues to present a challenge: I can’t tell Breakfast and The Grillmaster apart.
From the very beginning, I have associated Brian’s voice with Aaron and vice versa. Weber sounds the smartest, so I always assumed he was Brian. Bates sounds smart, but less polished and not as haughty, so he felt like he must be Aaron. But it’s actually the opposite! I’ll get it eventually *sigh*
I have seen pictures/videos of Dusty and Nate, however. I will NEVER get Dusty confused with anyone else. As for Nate, well, I’ll know him as soon as he reads the second sentence of this comment.
Thanks for such a fun, easy-to-enjoy show! Never well-planned, always hilarious. Ya’ll provide wonderful company on sometimes lonely nights :)
