If you don't design your life yourself, someone else will do it for you.Modern life is incredibly good at making us efficient. Efficient workers. Efficient consumers. Efficient scrollers. We move from one "meeting that could have been an email" to another. We rent instead of own. We consume instead of create. We replace real political action with angry comments and call it a revolution. And so, we drift.Life isn't terrible. The alarm bells don't ring. And that's what makes it so easy to get stuck. But a life optimized for algorithmic efficiency is not the same as a life designed for meaning, purpose, community, and human flourishing. In this video, I explore the modern meaning crisis: why so many people feel disconnected, directionless, lonely, anxious, and spiritually adrift despite living in an era of unprecedented technological progress, convenience, and material abundance. We look at how technology, social media, AI, politics, media, culture and modern economic systems shape our lives, and why so many of those systems seem designed to optimize for engagement, productivity, and profit rather than fulfillment, belonging and psychological wellbeing. The people building and managing these systems want us to believe this future is the inevitable, necessary price of progress. But it isn't. There is another way. There is a way out.But you habe to design your life intentionally. Decide what you stand for and build a life around it. Create your own meaning instead of waiting for institutions, algorithms, corporations, or political movements to provide it for you. This video is about one way to get started.Because if you don't design your life yourself, someone else will.----------------------------------------Show notes, socials, Substack, YouTube and more:https://thenewframers.com/----------------------------------------#MeaningCrisis #ModernLife #TheNewFramers
