    Super Bowl LVII - F You, Congratulations

    Alex recaps Super Bowl LVII as the Kansas City Chiefs win their second Lombardi in four years, and third as a franchise, by beating the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in State Farm Stadium. All of the big moments from the game are discussed, including the quality of the turf, the Eagles building their first half lead, the comeback from the Chiefs, and that controversial holding call. There's a look at how the Kelce brothers handled the game, what the two teams look like going forward, and discussion on how much Andy Reid enjoyed it.     On the 100th episode of The NFL Blitz: two turnovers in three plays stop a potential Jaguars upset as the Chiefs make their fifth straight championship game, the Giants see their great season end in a blowout loss to the Eagles, the Bengals dominate against the Buffalo Bills and clock management is once again an issue for the Cowboys in a big win for Brock Purdy and the 49ers. Alex also looks ahead to the Conference Championship Round as the Bengals and Chiefs meet once again, and the Eagles and 49ers face off in a fitting battle to be crowned best of the NFC.     Wild Card - Chargering

    Alex goes through all games from the Wild Card round of the Playoffs: the 49ers struggle in the first half against the Seahawks before taking off in the second, the Chargers blow a 27-0 lead to lose to the Jaguars, Miami almost cause one of the greatest upsets of all time as they keep it close (but lose) to the Buffalo Bills, the New York Giants thrill Alex in a big playoff win over the Vikings, the Bengals edge the Ravens and the Cowboys demolish the Buccaneers.     The regular season draws to a close on The NFL Blitz: the Kansas City Chiefs secure the one seed with a win over the Raiders, the Jags use their defence to beat the Titans and claim the AFC South, whilst the Dolphins claim the final AFC Wild Card spot after an uninspiring win over the Jets. In the NFC, the Seahawks get help from the Lions to claim the final Wild Card spot whilst the Eagles wrap up the one seed after a win against the Giants' third team.     Week 17 - Snow Angel

    UPDATED 6 January In Week 17's NFL Blitz: the New York Giants make the playoffs for the first time since 2016 after demolishing the Indianapolis Colts 38-10, Brock Purdy and the 49ers make hard work of the Las Vegas Raiders but win 37-34, and the Packers keep their playoff hopes alive after demolishing the Vikings 41-17. Also on the pod: the Jets season comes to an end after a 23-6 loss to the Seahawks, the Buccaneers secure the NFC South, and the Eagles show the value of Jalen Hurts as they lose their second straight game.  Everything pails in comparison to Dumar Hamlin though, who suffered cardiac arrest in the Bills @ Bengals game, which was later cancelled by the NFL.     Week 15 - Miracle 2: Electric Boogaloo

    Week 15 of the NFL was a bit weird and very entertaining: the Minnesota Vikings complete the biggest comeback in NFL history by beating the Indianapolis Colts after being 33-0 down, the Patriots have one of the dumbest plays of all time as they lose to the Las Vegas Raiders as time expires, and the Bills edge a narrow game against the Dolphins. Also on the pod: the Chiefs struggle but win against the Texans, the Jaguars stun the Cowboys with a walk-off pick six and the Broncos win an actual game of football. The thoughts of The NFL Blitz are with the friends and family of Franco Harris after the Hall of Famer's passing age 72. Rest in Peace.
