Welcome to the Normal Guys podcast, a discussion with real guys, with real issues, real families, real careers, and real thoughts on life. This podcast will talk through what guys think, whether it's marriage, fatherhood, politics, religion, fitness, careers....the issues that every normal guy deals with that we many times are too vulnerable to discuss. We will keep it real....we will talk about our belief in Christ in one segment and our favorite beer in another. The goal is to provide an outlet to let other guys know that we all share a bond, a similar thought process.

    The latest episode is driven by narratives pushed by the media and alleged news outlets who based upon the stories they are publishing, you can't turn right without offending someone. In the last two decades, society appears to have gone from one of being tolerant of differing perspectives to one where folks needs special places to hide if they hear something they don't agree with. As a father of two young children, how do I approach raising them in the new world going forward?

    This weeks episode is from a topic I've heard discussed in various ways over the last few weeks, and something I suffer with from time to time. Impostor syndrome is real and affects more men than would like to admit. As someone who has had a blessed and successful life to this point, I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings around the subject, to hopefully help someone else who may have the same affliction periodically.
