More courageous than a mighty Swede, it's the Off-Balance Three podcast. This week's topics: Archery is a badass sport. Everyone knows this. Everyone except NBC, that is. The guys debate why archery has been snubbed in Olympic coverage. All Ball or Flagrant Foul: Hope Solo has some harsh words for Swedish soccer. Was she in the wrong? Do the Olympics call for a heightened sense of sportsmanship? Tim Tebow is selling autographed bats and balls for an amount of money considerably higher than the value of the individual bats and balls. The OB3 gets to the bottom of this tomfoolery. Smell what the Brock is cookin

If you like sports and/or comedy writing, you’ll be satisfied with this one. Good mix of sports talk with a humorous approach. Eclectic group of hosts. Often have good guests. The all ball/flagrant foul segment is fun. Wish they’d talk a little about soccer, but I gotta respect guys who stick to what they’re good at.

I thought I had hired some Ringers to host my podcasts, but then I listened to these guys and realized I missed out on three generational talents. I wish I were as cool as Aaron and had a non-whiny voice like Geoff. I can’t even talk about Bryan without crying myself to sleep. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to get back to editing a 10,000-word oral history of catcher’s masks. And trying not to soak my laptop in tears.
