The Office Orientation

Who would have thought a search for Funko Box of Fun videos on YouTube would bring me to this most excellent Office podcast! So glad I’m able to go on this journey with Heather and her first time watching the best show ever!

Heather is awesome. I love listening to a new office fan talk about the show!!

I’ve been a big fan of The Office since I got into it back in the 3rd or 4th season. I caught up from the beginning at that time and watched he rest of the show as it aired on NBC. Since it went of the air, I’ve continued to quote the show with friends and family and have enjoyed seeing it be remediated throughout popular culture. But when I discovered this podcast, I loved getting to relive the show while hearing the perspective of someone who was just now watching the show for the first time. It inspired me to rewatch the show from the beginning as well, so now my weekly routine includes watching the two episodes and then listening to the this podcast. I have also recently discovered The Office Ladies Podcast, which I would also recommend to fans of the show, but you get a very different POV from Jenna and Angela than you do from Heather, Chris, and other guests. The Office Orientation has a more authentic feel to it. I’m so looking forward to rewatching the rest of the show and listening to Heather’s experience over the next few years. :-)

I think this is a brilliant idea to not only finally watch The Office, but document every episode with thoughts, feelings and predictions. The atmosphere of the podcast simulating friends sitting around talking about the show is the best part besides the camaraderie amongst the hots and guest. Can’t recommend this enough.
