    Boston Bombing and the Craft International LLC Myth

    The connection between the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing and Craft International stems from a prominent internet conspiracy theory claiming that the private military contractor carried out the attack as a "false flag" operation. In reality, official investigations confirmed that Craft International personnel were present at the marathon as hired security, and they had no involvement in the bombings. [1, 2, 3, 4] Who was Craft International? Craft International was a tactical training and private security firm founded in 2009 by legendary U.S. Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. The company provided tactical weapons training, corporate risk assessment, and specialized security services. Its employees frequently wore distinctive gear, including black shirts, tan tactical pants, and baseball caps featuring a skull logo—an image heavily adapted from the Navy SEALs and Marvel's Punisher character. [1, 2] Why did they become part of a conspiracy theory? Immediately following the April 15, 2013 bombings, amateur sleuths on platforms like Reddit, Twitter, and 4chan began analyzing crowdsourced photos from the finish line.     Dave Emory First Appearance

    About Dave Emory David Emory is a political researcher and broadcaster whose California-based radio programs are heard on a regular basis in the United States, Canada and Europe. Mr. Emory’s broadcasts focus on the U.S. military and intelligence community’s historical involvement with international fascism. Researching such national security establishment abuses as domestic and foreign political assassinations, and governmental complicity with organized crime and drug smuggling syndicates, Mr. Emory has distilled his academic research into an archival documentary format. These “archive” programs consist of excerpts from printed sources read during his broadcasts. Mr. Emory’s programs have been featured on a regular basis on Pacifica stations KPFK (Los Angeles) and WBAI (New York), and many smaller stations. He has appeared as guest on major commercial stations including KGO-AM (San Francisco) and WLUP-AM (Chicago) and as an expert commentator on broadcast outlets in three continents. Audio cassette copies of the archive programs are also circulated internationally. Mr. Emory began his work during the Watergate era when he noted numerous connections between that scandal and the assassination of President Kennedy. Pursuing his work on the JFK assassination, Mr. Emory discovered Nazi General Reinhard Gehlen’s Eastern front spy apparatus, and its incorporation into the CIA after World War II.
