Welcome to The Orphic, with Alyssa Sokol and Mikayla Morrison. The word Orphic means "beyond ordinary understanding": Alyssa and Mikayla are both intuitive channelers developing their connection to higher realms to bring through other-worldly information and wisdom. Alyssa is an Astrophysics PhD actively working on theories blending astrophysics and spirituality to describe the way the universe works. Mikayla is an empathic medium with her own business offering psychic readings, energy healings, and past-life regressions. Together they discuss their personal healing journeys and get into interesting topics within astrophysics, quantum physics, consciousness, astrology, aliens, and much more.

On this episode, we’re talking about heartbreak— the rise, the crash, the in-between, and especially those connections that feel very fated & significant at the soul-level. After intros and grounding in, Mikayla & Alyssa talk about their addition of Cacao ceremony’s to recording days, the spirit of Cacao, and how to tune in to plant medicine spirits (6:00). Alyssa then starts sharing a very recent and personal experience dealing with heartbreak (17:50). She talks about how this connection came about, its complications, and the many lessons that came up along the way. So glad I found this, working my way through all the episodes. Each host brings a different vibe and perspective and their chemistry together really makes it feel like a relaxed, non judgmental place to interface with some new and different ideas I might not otherwise be exposed to.
