When You Keep Saying Yes But Mean No

Send us Fan Mail Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 7 What if the reason you feel drained isn’t because you’re doing too much, but because you’re allowing too much? In this episode, we’re talking about boundaries not from a place of distance or disconnection, but from clarity, self-respect, and emotional safety. After learning how to feel safe again the next step should be deciding what you will and will not continue to carry or allow. Because healing doesn’t just help change how you feel, it changes what you’re willing to accept. Many of us were never taught to set boundaries. Instead, we learned how to keep the peace, overextend ourselves, and stay silent to protect relationships - at the cost of ourselves. In this episode we talk about, 4 Types of boundaries: emotional, time, physical and mental. How to recognize when and where you need boundaries. The difference between relationships, family and work boundaries.Setting boundaries without over explaining yourself.Take a moment and ask yourself: Where in your life do you feel the most drained and where are you saying yes… when something in you is saying no? Your frustration may be pointing to a boundary you haven’t set yet. You’re not behind.  You’re in process.  And you’re learning to see clearly Let’s connect: Website: www.arlenebolden.com |  FB: @thepathpodcast  |  IG: @thepath_podcast  | thepath4ward@gmail.com 🎧 Follow the show on Apple, Spotify  or where ever you listen to podcasts. When Calm Feels Unfamiliar - Learning to Trust Yourself

Send us Fan Mail Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 6 In this episode of The Path Podcast, we’re talking about what survival leaves behind - this is something many of you may be experiencing but don’t always recognize it after overcoming obstacles.  You survived a serious diagnosis, financial setbacks, or the end of a relationship - but part of you is still living like you’re in it. Life has calmed down, but your body has not caught up. You finally have peace, but you still feel unsettled. If you’ve ever felt like you’re always “on,” like you’re waiting for something to go wrong, or like calm just doesn’t feel normal yet? If you answered yes, this is the conversation for you. Because sometimes survival ends before your body realizes it is safe. In episode 5 of the Reframe the Picture Series, we talked about the identity you built to survive and how that version of you was necessary to protect you. In this episode, we’re shifting the focus:  What happens when the storm is over, but you’re still bracing for it?Why calm can feel unfamiliar after hard seasons. Why your body may still feel on guard even when nothing is wrongHow to trust yourself again.Somethings require additional support and you don’t have to go through it alone.  Seeking help  doesn’t make you weak. It means you’re ready to heal. Sometimes the most courageous thing you can do is believe that calmer days are ahead. Some storms change us, but they were never meant to define the rest of our lives. You’re not behind.  You’re in process.  And you’re learning to see clearly. The Identity That Kept You Safe, And the Courage to Emerge

Send us Fan Mail Series: Reframe The Picture - Pt 5 You are not stuck. You’re loyal to an identity that once kept us safe. In Episode 5 of the ReFrame The Picture Series, we unpack the version of you that formed at a time you needed it to survive. We also discuss what happens when that version keeps leading your life and decisions long after the storm is over. In this episode, we explore: •  How identity forms in response to pain •  Why survival requires us to adapt — and how adaptation can quietly become our identity •  A guided Reframe-the-Picture exercise •  A safe conversation about receiving support to help move you forward if needed. You didn’t become this version of yourself by accident. You became her out of necessity. Show yourself grace, and thank the woman who stepped up when survival required it. The protection you needed then is not what you require now. It may be time to gently tell that part of you it’s safe to emerge - into the woman you were always meant to be, and fully love. You don’t erase the picture. You change the frame. Tune in and check this episode out… You’re not behind. You’re in process. You Don’t Need a New Life — You Need a New Lens

Send us Fan Mail Reframe The Picture Series - Part 1 What if the life you’re praying to escape is actually trying to teach you how to see? You’ve been asking Why me?  Not because you’re broken, but because you’ve been only looking at the pain, obstacles, and survival. In this Part 1 of my Reframe the Picture series,  I will introduce what I found and believe to be a grounding truth that sets the tone for the entire journey ahead: that transformation doesn’t always require a new life — sometimes it requires a new way of seeing the one you’re already in with a different lens. Most people who have reached a level of success will tell you they all didn’t start out with a million-dollar vision but with survival. This episode explores how reframing isn’t about erasing pain, rushing healing, or pretending it didn’t hurt. It’s about reframing the meaning so clarity, compassion, and direction can return. This episode is an invitation to pause the pressure to fix everything and instead, gently ask what this season may be forming in you. In this episode, we’re talking about: Why rushing to fix things in your life can keep you stuck. What reframing really is — and what it isn’t.How pain can distort your perspective. Why renewing your mind doesn’t mean denying reality.Learning to slow down to see your current season with grace. In this episode I will lay the foundation for the Reframe the Picture method an 8 part series designed to help you see yourself -  and your story - and your future - clearly again. Reminder: You are not behind. You are in process.
