    This weeks podcast we played & discussed Actors who are musicians. We played music from (in no particular order) The Bacon Brothers, Robert Downey Jr., Dogstar(Keanu Reeves), Hugh Laurie, Juliette Lewis, Kate Hudson, Scarlett Johanson, Steve Martin, Billy Bob Thornton & David Duchovny.     1st Official "Podcast" was a success. We paid tribute to Dolly Parton, Tim Curry & a few others that have pasted this past week. We talked about the upcoming Icarus Fell Show & Played them as well. Talked about the Rikki Rocket show at The Token August 29th and played some Poison. We talked about Mick Blankenships Birthday show coming up at The Token as well a played his music. We also talked about The Plush show at The Machine Shop tonight(August 28th). We also played Y & T , Plethora & Shadow of The Talisman to round out the 1st official podcast. Hope you enjoyed it & continue to follow us on FB, Twitter & Youtube.     The Plankman Show 8-20-2026 Last LIVE SHOW

    Well that was a HELL of a way too end the LIVE shows on tapdetroit.com! Always a good time when @JezterDetroit comes in studio BUT he brought along Brian from HALLOWEEN! WTF?! What a way to end the LIVE format. Thanks Brian for coming in sharing stories about Halloween & just the music scene in general. Holy COW! So obviously we played Halloween, Social Fever and we started off with 1 of my favorite local bands Belling The Tiger. We also played Royal Bliss to end the show as we always do.     Thursdays show was a lot of fun & Educational. We of course had our pal Jezter on to talk all things Jezter & Soot & he drop us some new upcoming music from Red Snow. Keep your eyes out for that. We also played Ray Street Park, Poundtown Prophet, Protokult,Psychostick and more. We also talked the benefit for Julie at Road Rangers Saturday June 5th and Jezter brought us some OLD Tapdetroit.com promos & commercials he & I had made years ago.     This last Thursday nights show we played some Ray Street Park to promote the upcoming benefit for Julie at Road Rangers. We also played a bunch of Jezter Bands, Social Fever, 3 word curse, Moon Madness & Red Snow. Man that's a lot of bands & all are awesome! Looking forward to the return of SOOT. We also played Beef Supreme again & their great. Check them out at Corktown Tavern June 27th with our friends Through Our Eyes.     We played music from Underland, Project Payne, Poundtown Prophet, Big B & The Magic Bullets, Mick Blankenship & Ray Street Park. We also discovered a new band called Beef Supreme that was a pleasant surprise. We also discussed how I ended up moving back to Michigan 24 years ago thanks to “Tiny” Tim Cook & Jordan Johnson. So we took a long trip down memory lane but it was fun remembering my time in Radio & TV in the Cincinnati Area.
