Indie 102.3 hosts and musical guests battle it out in a podcast that pits playlist against playlist. Each participant drafts 5 songs within a certain musical theme. Then, listeners vote on whose playlist is the best, and the curator of the playlist with the most votes will select the theme for the next episode.

    Taking something as beautifully subjective as music preference and turning it into a ruthless competition, it's The Playlist League! Hosted by Jessi Whitten and featuring a rotating cast of OpenAir hosts (102.3 FM Denver), musicians and Denver community members, The Playlist League drafts playlists song by song according to a theme and asks the listener to vote which one reigns supreme. The winning playlist drafter is awarded the honor of picking the theme for the next episode. Our first episode features Jeremy Petersen, Jessi Whitten and Bruce Trujillo as they wrap up festival season in Colorado by drafting the ultimate festival lineup and the band's closing songs. The Playlist League theme music is performed by Dressy Bessy.
