Don’t miss this one—awesome hosts, great topics
Listening to this podcast is like having a conversation with your best friends. Casey and Mariah are perfect co-hosts. The empathy they express is like none I’ve heard on other shows that focus on plane crash investigations. The show is laid-back, with stories delivered in a conversational manner, by hosts who are, self-admittedly, non-experts. They are any of us telling a story to our best friend. Their open, informal approach leaves room for compassion in ways that some shows, more technical shows, don’t always allow for. Casey and Mariah followed their instincts and created a show that is accessible, interesting, and still honors those who have been lost under horrific circumstances. 🩵Debs
Hosts Make a Poscast
Aviation is extremely intersting, of course, but Casey and Mariah as hosts take this podcast to another level. They are excited about every story, Casey does thorough research and they are both humble and welcome additional information or corrections. I also appreciate their sense of humor and their friendship, which seems quite strong. Keep the episodes coming!
In the trying to make these crashes, hosts misconstrue many events
Self explanatory. Airplane crashes are fascinating topics that, while technically involved, can absolutely be presented to a lay audience…if done with precise language, reasonable analogies, etc. But you cannot play loose with the facts in doing so. Unfortunately, these hosts’ presentation style is just that- too loose, and they misconstrue the meanings of specific aspects of crashes which result in misleading statements.
Not a fan.
