I listen to podcasts mostly while driving, and I’ve been listening to this one to and from work lately. Just listened to the Soul episode, and I thought you guys touched upon some interesting takes on the movie. I loved the movie, and I’m glad I heard you two talk about it. 5/5 would listen during my trip to/from work again.

Great podcast. Had I listened to this 4-6 years ago I probably would have gotten bent outta shape about your socialist stances. Instead, I find myself nodding in agreement with y’all the majority of the time. The only thing I’d like to hear is a bit more academic or theoretical framework when you “shoehorn in a theme”. I think there was a great opportunity in your latest podcast when you starting talking about credit score to give us more than just a surface level understanding of these themes. Keep up the good work.

But I can’t stop listening! Now I may not only like this show because I call Booch aka the Pseudo Intellectual Soy a friend or Booch’s velvet chocolate voice in the ears. Now I may not agree with everything they say however they make points and make me think in a healthy dialogue. Taking on the social and political implications of movies/shows and also pointing out things I may have never thought or overlooked. Hope these boys keep this going I know I’ll be listening

I found this podcast when I started watching Lovecraft Country and I absolutely love it! I went back and listened to all the episodes I missed that were unrelated to Lovecraft and I really enjoy their style. As a Black woman, I appreciate that they highlight social and political themes and also that they are super honest when they didn't know about something (but went and did research about it). I’ve learned a lot from this show, I especially loved the episodes focused on indigenous people. I love the banter, the personal stories, basically everything about this show. I highly recommend it!
