Cousin Mathew Lagafuaina joins us to explain how he first joined the Nu'uuli auva'a (before it was "Manulele Tausala"), what the training sessions were like (two-a-days!) and the experience of your village and families sending you off into battle the morning of the race. Both hilarious and insightful, this convo is one you definitely don't want to miss. We'll also talk about betting on the Raiders to win the Super Bowl, and what to say on your downswing in golf ("Down"). We'll then discuss why it's important for us as Pacific Islanders to speak up and ask our names to be pronounced correctly, instead of just rolling along when someone butchers it.
