    Evolving Social Realities: How to Prepare for the Future and Preserve Past Values In this episode Dave and I are joined, once again, by Eli James and Sebastian Mariz to talk about the evolution and preservation of existing social behaviours and how their development might be influenced and/or accelerated by our reactions to this Vid pandemic. Interesting right? Seems that there are a number of ways to look at this particular issue and we’re lucky to have many of these diverse views discussed here. Ahead of the times – at least the politicians! Another topic we dive into (and, admittedly, a common theme for this show) is the role these ‘Ginormous’ internet companies have in shaping the future social reality as they dominate our virtual worlds. It’s a little funny too because we recorded this episode only days before congresses around the world launched their attacks on these large organisations in the form of law suits and taxes. The real question is: will these actions taken do any good? Maybe the politicians should be asking us and our listeners….We would like to know what you think so please do let us know…..     Moving Forward and Up

    We Do Like to Talk…….. Minutes: 0 – 6:02 As we were beginning our 4th episode I was sure we were going to do better about keeping it to a reasonable length. However, as we began to get into what defines PosEcon, talking with our guest as to how Technology is defining our behavior and discussing what we can’t understand these days – well, suffice it to say, we ran long. As always we do hope breaking into sections will make it easier to listen to and it is summertime so maybe you’ll all have a little more time anyway….. PosEcon In Action Minutes: 6:05 – 17:05 We’re going to be using this section to provide our listeners with more detail into the ‘Values’ and ‘Operating Assumptions that define PosEcon so the ideals of posiconism are more easily understood for our listeners. Before we get into those details we still want to make sure to point out examples of posicon activities that we’ve seen of late. This episode I’m talking about how malls are being converted into new community living spaces. We began by talking about social media and the problems with Twitter censorship, FB not censuring and TikTok just taking over everything. Then we moved into a discussion on AI and the replacement of human contact with artificial social bots and what the pandemic has brought us.     Dave and I continue our conversation with Reid and Ben about technology society and economics. At this point we move from telecommuting into everyone’s favorite subject, Social Media. We ask the question: ‘Should those providers of social media/experiences be held accountable for any negative societal contagion effects that their products/productions produce?’ As you can imagine it turns into a rather lively debate as we touch upon the 1st Amendment and the producers associated rights. We also take a turn at our friends at Facebook and all the current discussions on Anti-Trust legislations and the possible role of government regulation. It’s a tough topic to understand and a conversation I’m sure we’re going to come back to time and time again. Are We Really that F… Stupid Our last segment begins at minute 19:40 and is as much fun as ever. Talking once again about misinformation and public movements the have little or no foundation. And yes we do talk about WEARING MASK and GETTING VACCINES!
