I'm a recent subscriber to The Practically Perfect Leader podcast, and I feel like host Angie Robinson is speaking directly to me. I am not a business leader per se, but I do manage a couple people, and I also do my own solo-prenuer thing doing professional writing and travel planning. Angie's questions, challenges, and advice hit me right where I need it. It's almost like she knows me and is speaking specifically to me! I have not experienced that type of connection with a podcast host before, and I'm excited to continue listening. Angie’s delivery is joyful with a touch of magic, which I really like! Her tips and breakdowns of behaviors and leadership philosophies are also in-depth and offer opportunities for the listener to do some work for deeper insights. Such a great listen!
LESSONS FROM MARY POPPINS - INCREDIBLE EPISODE
In this episode Angie dives deep into her love and appreciation for her inspiration - Mary Poppins. And it’s simply wonderful! Angie embraces her love of Disney and the lessons from the two Mary Poppins movies to an extent of which I’ve never seen before. It’s not only refreshing to hear her excitement and honest admiration for the messages intertwined within these movie classics, but the value these lessons provide is simply unmatched. The lessons she shares not only relates to leadership, but also to life in general. I found myself nodding in agreement and writing down specific passages that relate to me and my world. To say this episode is one of my favorites, would be an understatement. Thank you Angie for sharing with us you passion of Mary Poppins and the lessons she has taught generations. It’s wonderful timing to apply them all to life and leadership today.
