Becoming familiar with your finances with Rachel Harris

As the founder of one of the fastest growing accountancy practices in the UK and with a personal brand that’s worth over 6 figures alone, Rachel Harris is a millionaire who struggles with her money mindset.  Rachel shared the million pound milestone in her stories a few months ago, and it quickly followed with a ‘holy shit that was uncomfortable message’. The truth is the reality her and her husband have created for themselves is so different to her reality as a child, where money always got a bad rep round the dining room table. This is the conversation that brings together the mindset and the practical perspectives of money mindset, highlights some areas that could be holding you back and show you how to move through them. Listen as Rachel shares her advice on how you become familiar with your finances, which will ultimately make you feel safe to bring in more.  About Rachel: Award winning industry leader, content creator, speaker, author and accountancy practice owner. She was named as one to watch on the 35 under 35 list, she recently won the First Intuition Apprenticeship mentor of the year award for 2023 and has just been announced as the breakout star of the year by Accounting Excellence and accounting personality of the year 2023 by PQ Magazine. A client episode: What is coaching really like?

If you have ever wondered what coaching is truly like, how it works or whether it’s worth it - this is the conversation to listen to. “I want to say thank you for, it sounds really huge to say it, but for changing my life and putting me on a new trajectory last year. Without your support and without you being in my corner and helping me to see things from a different way and encouraging me and calling me out with love, I wouldn't be the person I am right now and have so much excitement and hope for the future.” Bex Bex was the first person to ever sign up to my 1:1 coaching and we went on to work and grow together for 6 months. In this deep, authentic and insightful conversation, Bex shares what it really felt like to be coached and to start that journey of inner work.  In this episode we covered: The question she hoped coaching would answer and the answers she wasn’t expecting How coaching supported her to get out a dark place The challenges that came with doing this work How new limiting beliefs emerged during the journey The importance of setting boundaries and what that looked like How mindset coaching supported her to leave her unaligned job The way she responded to unaligned opportunities Why Voxer (voice note) coaching was the most powerful part of the coaching container The message she would give to the 2022 version of herself The result of mindset coaching may seem intangible, but that’s because the ripple effect is incredibly hard to measure. This work touches every part of your life and changes the way you move through life. A huge thank you to the gorgeous Bex for joining me and sharing her experience on the podcast.
