    It has been a few weeks, this episode was supposed to come out two weeks ago if I'm being completely honest. Sometimes life happens and you have to roll with it or get run over by it.     New Year for The Professional Dependa

    What do you hope to accomplish this year? Every year in January we are given the opportunity to shape how that year will go for us. Will our year be good? Will it be crap? A very large part of your outlook on the year will depend on you and how you decide to approach it. This year I am focusing on being more creative, be OK with being more creative. Focusing on making better content, improving my photography and videography skills, and writing my book. The other things I am focusing on is being kinder, I'd like to think I'm already a nice person, but leading with kindness is something I can always work on.     Kindness Matters

    The holidays are a difficult time of year for many military families. In this episode I discuss a disturbing trend that is becoming more prevalent on social media. Spouses post questions looking for advise on topics such as making friends, resources for jobs, or even food banks. Far too often those request at met with ridicule or even flat out shamming. Why are we, as military spouses, so quick to insult and ridicule or fellow spouses when they need help? Take the time to be a good person, lead with kindness first and be an asset and/or and ally. There is enough negativity in the world that we do not need to tear each other down when we can be helping.
