During this episode, we conducted a simple but eye-opening demonstration with my 5-year-old nephew, Colton. While I stepped out of the room, Police Chief Daniel Ruffin (in street clothes) — someone Colton had never met before — walked in and asked him a simple question: “Do you want to see my puppy?” Within seconds, Colton stood up and walked out of the room with him.
