Sheds light on the important nuances of psychiatry

Incredibly well done. Both speakers articulate the nuances of psychiatric diagnoses and language used by psychiatrists when making diagnoses in a way that is hard to come by. Great source for medical students interested in delving deeper into psychiatry.

Nailed it on PTSD

Ditto on what CadyMS said about the show on PTSD. I’ve been looking for ways to help my family understand, and this hour(ish) long podcast nails it. Books and websites and academic articles — none of that fit what they needed. Thank you. You guys rock.

Very informative

I started listening to this, not really sure how helpful it would be. I’m fairly informed about PTSD, but was cleaning my kitchen and looking for something to listen to while doing so. There was a lot of really interesting info, so much so I ended up with a super clean kitchen because I wanted to listen to the whole hour plus! Definitely recommend even if you’re knowledgeable on the topic - they bring in interesting history, a perspective on which meds are most useful for different needs, and an overview of a variety of different types of therapy.
