Afua Richardson, whose works include Black Panter World of Wakanda, XMen92, and HBO's Lovecraft Country, joins Chris and Hector this week to talk about the tail end of pandemic life, her work on Lovecraft Country, and her upcoming book, Book of Mer.
It has been a slow couple of weeks in the comic book industry with Captain America turning 80 and funny number reporting with Keanu Reeves' BRZKR #1. Chris and Hector (fighting back a cold) talk about the Infinite Frontier from DC along with their Top 4 Pulls and the #1's worth your time.
Weather Wizard Sucks
Chris and Hector talk about the forthcoming theft of The Infinity Gauntlet ...by Black Cat! On the DC Comics and Milestone Media side, Static is coming back with a new series along. Also, J.J. Abrams is taking on the Man of Steel, and Diamond comics are suffering the weather delays along with anyone else whose packages went through the midwest last week. The duo's pulls from the last two weeks as well as their Top #1 picks in this week's episode.

Great insight into all things comic books. The hosts are extremely knowledgeable in passing on industry news and their passion for the genre is very apparent. Great reading recommendations every episode.
Great content, lacks regular schedule
The show content is solid. Chris and Hector really dive deep into a lot of stuff. What’s frustrating is the lack of a consistent schedule. Do I miss the weekly episodes? Yes. But I’m okay with the every other week schedule. It’s just sometime it’s three weeks, or a month with nothing.
Awesome comics based podcast!
One of my favorite comic podcasts that covers weekly releases and all things comic related. Not very much filler which I like. They have topics and comics that they speak on and they do it well! I look forward to this podcast more so then others that do the weekly “pull list” type of show. They’re very knowledgeable and down to earth and cover things in a familiar way. You can even call in and share with them what your reading and they will discus it on the podcast which is awesome! I was surprised to hear myself while listening one day(triggered me to write this review) which was cool because it shows that they obviously care about their community. What more could you ask for in a podcast!?? Two thumbs up!
