I also hold a Masters of Science degree in Human Resources, in addition to being SPHR certified since 1999.  In 2010 I was awarded the Professional Saleswoman of the Year award through Professional Saleswoman of Nevada.  I also received the HR All Star Award through the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association.  I have been teaching Human Resource and Supervisory courses for the College of Extended Studies since 1991 and partnered with UNR to plan, develop and execute a structured review program for the Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR). We have run this program for 3 years, with a total of 7 sessions and have a 73% pass rate (this is well above the national average pass rate of 60%).     Jeff Panko - Community Work During A Pandemic

    In today's podcast episode, we speak with Jeff Panko. Jeff Panko is the Branch Manager of United Federal Credit Union in Northwest Reno, Nevada. He is on the Executive Board of The Women and Children’s Center of the Sierra (WACCS), a Board Member of the Nevada Humane Society (NHS), an Advisory Board Member of My Journey Home Inc. (MJH) and a Member of the Young Professionals Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada. Jeff has over 15 years of banking retail experience and 5 years of business lending and development. His areas of expertise include Lending (Business, Consumer, Mortgage and Indirect), Collaboration, Leadership Development, and Community Development/ Involvement. Jeff graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Business Management and Information Systems degree. He also earned a certification of Excellence in Non-Profit Management from the University of Nevada, Reno. He is highly involved in the local community by being involved with the non-profits WACCS and NHS, networking organizations BNI, NCET and UNR Alumni Chapters, as well as staying connected as an alumni of the Sigma Nu Fraternity and as an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
