    Brandon Garrison is US citizen residing in Florida. His wife, Gabriela came to the United States legally, she has no criminal record. According to Brandon, she was illegally detained in October, 2025 and has been in immigrant detention for the past 5 months. She is eligible for US citizenship through her marriage to Brandon but the Federal government is barring them from completing the necessary paperwork. The exposé seemed to spark an investigation by the Department of Homeland Security but now he is back on the job and the racist X account is still active. Steven Monacelli is the journalist who broke this story. He is an award winning investigative journalist focusing on extremism, disinformation, social movements and the influence of dark money in politics. His work has appeared in countless publications such as Rolling Stone and The Daily Beast. He's currently a special investigative correspondent for The Texas Observer.     Pregnant Women Shackled in Immigrant Detention

    Eunice Cho is senior counsel at the ACLU National Prison Project. She's a nationally recognized expert and litigator on issues pertaining to immigration detention, including access to counsel. She has served as lead and co-counsel in numerous cases to protect the rights of immigrant detainees, including people held at the cruelly named Alligator Alcatraz detention facility and the Guantanamo Naval Base.
